Platform Engineer

We are a Cloud & Cybersecurity Provider and our focus is to provide medium and large companies with Cloud services at the highest level of reliability and performance, integrated with Cybersecurity solutions that protect their data and applications.We are looking for extremely curious, proactive colleagues with a strong passion for technology and cybersecurity.The future colleague will join the Cloud Native Team in the role of PLATFORM ENGINEER, operating independently with an assigned set of clients and demonstrating strong self-management skills while maintaining access to senior guidance when needed; managing Kubernetes platforms and related ecosystem technologies of increasing complexity; handling client relationships autonomously while seeking support from Senior Engineers or the Team Leader for technical challenges or complex client situations, and taking ownership of Infrastructure as Code implementations and DevOps enablement activities.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging customer tickets and resolving technical issues to ensure timely responses to infrastructure problems and maintain customer satisfaction; Delivering and setting up infrastructure to successfully deploy and configure Kubernetes environments and related technologies for customers; Providingtechnical consulting and advisory services to enable customers in adopting DevOps practices and optimizing Kubernetes platform utilization; Contributing tothe development and maintenance of SIGHUP distribution products to support product evolution and ensure platform reliability; Proactively monitoring and optimizing infrastructure to maintain stable environments and ensure optimal platform performance; Delivering customer training and knowledge transfer sessions to empower customer teams with platform skills and best practices; Implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code to ensure consistent, repeatable, and scalable infrastructure deployments.If you love new technologies and enjoy dealing with complex problems, we are the right place for youHard SkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical field preferred.Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered; 2 years of experience depending on the seniority in IT operations, cloud infrastructure, or related technical roles; Basic knowledgeof cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform); Understanding of Linux / Unix operating systems and command line interface; Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana); Basic scriptingskills (Bash, Python or similar languages); Knowledgeof containerization technologies (Docker); Good knowledge of Kubernetes; Understanding of networking concepts (TCP / IP, DNS, load balancing); Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Kustomize, Helm); Basic understanding of CI / CD pipelines and platforms; Knowledgeof version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab); CKAD, CKA, or CKS certifications are considered a plus.Language SkillsGood command of Italian and English, both written and spoken; Good command ofFrench and / or Spanish is a plus.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities; Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal; Ability to workeffectively in a team environment; Detail-orientedwith strong organizational skills; Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies; Time managementand ability to prioritize tasks; Proactiveattitude and initiative in identifying improvements; Ability to workunder pressure and meet deadlines; Customer service orientation for internal stakeholder support.Company LocationsItaly: Vimercate (MB), Roma, Catania, Cascina (PI) / Remote Working; France: Paris; Spain: Madrid.Settore: InformaticaRuolo: IT / TechnologyTipo di occupazione: Contratto a tempo indeterminato#J-*****-Ljbffr
