Videndum plc is an international group principally serving customers in the "image capture and content creation" market.Videndum designs, manufactures and distributes premium branded and technically advanced products and solutions for broadcasters, film and video production companies, independent content creators, vloggers/influencers, enterprises, governments and professional musicians.Our people are key to Videndum plc's future, and they are our number one priority.They make the difference not only by what they do, but by how they do it.Job SummaryReporting to the Value Stream Manager, the role of the production planner in Videndum is to match requirements coming from market with the production capability and to guarantee the proper service level to the final customer (On Time Delivery), balancing the amount of stock (Working Capital).It will become the link between Supply Chain dept. and the Production dept., strongly oriented to customer satisfaction, while considering production needs or constraints (both in terms of capacity and components availability).Responsibilities- Develop production plans and schedule the production of the work-centers in order to meet customers' requests (On Time Delivery).- Ensure to draw up feasible plans, expedite the arrival of missing components and constantly update production and Customer Service of any delays.- Provide to Customer Service accurate dates of finish product availability.- With the help of the Value Stream Managers, define the production sequence in order to optimize machines' setup and maximize production efficiency.- Balancing production keeping the right stock level of semi-finished goods that ensure reactivity and flexibility on fulfil market demand.- Monitoring that production progress/declaration is in line with the production plans.- Manage and address properly all the commercial priorities coming from Customer Service, checking production status and evaluating the feasibility to review the production schedule (in accordance with the Value Stream Manager).- Plan and ensure timely material deliveries in alignment with the production schedule.- Manage supplier relationships, including communication, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.- Define and manage in M3 all the "production exceptions", ensuring timely update and consequently data as much accurate as possible.- Maintain M3 parameters, especially the ones related to planning, in order to ensure proper functioning of the system.- Develop & update production KPIs (Service Level – Efficiency – Manufacturing On Time Delivery).Qualifications and Technical/Soft Skills- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.- Proven experience in production planning or manufacturing operations.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).- Good IT skills functional data analysis (i.e. EXCEL).- Knowledge of ERP systems and planning tools.- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.- Collaboration.- Pro-activity.- Service focus.- Self time-management.Videndum Mindset- Exceptional Product Performance- Customer Focus- Leading a Fast Changing Market- Global Capability- Transparency, Integrity and Respect- Environmental ConsciousnessHealth and SafetyHealth and Safety is at the forefront of everything we do at Videndum: All employees are expected to take care for their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions in accordance with the Company health and safety policy by using correct tools, processes and Personal protective equipment and not perform any function unless appropriately trained and authorised.Our approach to diversity follows a strict policy of sourcing the best person for the role irrespective of race, gender, age, religion, sexual preference, or disability.Our Code of Conduct sets out an express prohibition on discrimination of any kind.#J-*****-Ljbffr
