The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis and validation of advanced lightweight and composite structures for unmanned platforms.You will work in a highly technical, hands-on engineering environment, contributing directly to the development of structural solutions from concept to prototype and testing phases.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and support the structural design of lightweight and composite structuresTranslate system and mission requirements into structural requirements (strength, stiffness, mass targets, margins of safety)Define and evaluate load cases relevant to unmanned platforms (flight, landing, vibration, shock, transport)Perform structural analyses using FEM/FEA methods (static, buckling, modal and vibration analysis)Create and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawingsSupport prototype integration, verification and test activitiesContribute to technical documentation, analysis reports and test plansWork cross-functionally with electronics, system engineering and manufacturing teamsQualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural Engineering or equivalentBackground in structural analysis and mechanical designExperience with composite materials and lightweight structures (e.g. carbon fiber)Proficiency with CAD tools (CATIA, NX, SolidWorks or equivalent)Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced engineering environmentExperience with FEA tools (Abaqus, Ansys, Nastran, OptiStruct or similar) is a plus
