Overview The role: Senior Producing Broker We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual to join our Reinsurance Treaty team in Italy (Rome/Milan ideally) working mainly on Property 2) The role requests a strong focus on prospection and seeking new opportunities in the market.How you'll make an impact Maintain, process and manage an existing book of Italian clients.Be commercial and proactive in order to develop new business.Marketing complex reinsurance business to carriers, on behalf of the existing clients.Developing and maintaining a network of carrier and/or broker relationships.Identify and analyze client exposures to recommend and/or design risk solutions.Identify appropriate carriers, send requests, negotiate favorable reinsurance quotes and prepare recommendations for the client.Revenue generating responsibility.Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.Ability to work in a hybrid style with colleagues across different locations.Strong project management capabilities.About you Fluent in Italian and English.Spanish, French, or German a plus but not essential.Reinsurance client facing experience required, either from a broker or a carrier background.Approximately 10 years of relevant reinsurance background.Big 4 Consulting firms can be considered as long as relevant reinsurance experience has been gained over the years.Excellent sales capabilities.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.A degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline is preferred.
