DescriptionTyvak International is seeking new members to join their team to support space vehicle development.Tyvak focuses on developing and integrating key components and technologies into highly-integrated and high performance nano-satellite vehicles.The teams skillset ranges from architecture design build and test of mechanical electrical and software subsystems integrated into small spacecraft.We are seeking a motivated Back-End Software Engineer.Reporting to the Software Area Manager the Back-End Software Engineer will join a collaborative team to develop innovative nano-satellite vehicle solutions for multiple projects.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign develop and maintain simple reliable and fault-tolerant softwareWrite comprehensive unit and regression tests in existing frameworksIntegrate and test software in wide and interlaced ground segment environmentsWork with multiple engineering teams to establish software requirements and designWork with various engineering teams to support the commissioning of newly launched satellitesRequirementsBachelors Degree in CE CS or equivalent field required.Masters Degree is preferred.Maximum 5 years of experience developing Python or other high-level language (Java C# C) applications for distributed systemsGood knowledge of Linux Operating System principlesKnowledge of networking and distributed systems principles (ISO / OSI stack web concepts etc.)Knowledge of relational and not-relational database principles.Highly motivated self-starting and able to perform duties autonomously without supervision.Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Italian and in EnglishAbility to collaborate effectively with others member of team towards a common goalPositive and proactive person and to be able manage stress and deadlinesProblem solver able to analyze situations and find practical solutionsDesired SkillsHands-on experience in developing web back-end applications in Python and the most common web frameworks (Django Flask)Hands-on experience in developing web front-end applications with modern Javascript frameworks (Angular React Vue)Experience with modern relational databases (MySQL PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB Timescale Influx DB)BenefitsSalary and benefits are EU market competitive and include Welfare Benefits Private Insurance Flexible working Hours.About Tyvak InternationalTyvak is one of the most experienced small satellite groups in the industry with unique experience and capabilities in the development of nanosatellite missions and advanced technologies.The main company office is located in Torino Italy.Work EnvironmentThe job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company.This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers and scanners.Employment TypeFull TimeExperienceyearsVacancy1Key SkillsSpring,.NET,C / C++,Go,React,OOP,C#,Data Structures,JavaScript,Software Development,Java,Distributed SystemsContactIf you need assistance or accommodation due to a disability you may contact us at#J-*****-Ljbffr
