Senior Product Manager, Trauma

Stryker is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager, Trauma to lead product marketing activities for the Trauma portfolio in Italy.This is a senior, standalone role with full responsibility for translating global marketing strategy into effective local execution, working closely with commercial and cross-functional teams.This position offers the opportunity to operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, shaping go-to-market strategies, supporting key product launches, and partnering closely with sales and clinical stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Trauma: ResponsibilitiesLocal Marketing Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and execute a localized marketing strategy aligned with the global direction to drive market penetration and strong product positioning.Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness and continuously improve marketing impact.Annual Marketing Planning & CommercializationLead the development and execution of the local Annual Marketing Plan (AMP) in alignment with global priorities.Drive new product launches and commercialization initiatives in close collaboration with sales and business unit leadership.Market Insights & Competitive IntelligenceContinuously gather and analyze market insights, customer feedback, and competitive activity.Share insights across the organization to inform strategy, refine positioning, and support product development decisions.Business Performance ManagementMonitor business performance and key metrics to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to support growth, market share, and customer satisfaction.Customer, Sales & Clinical EngagementPartner closely with the sales organization, including regular field travel, to support customers and identify business opportunities.Engage with surgeons, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and other stakeholders to build strong, long-term relationships.Support customer events, tenders, and sales initiatives as needed.Medical Education & EventsDevelop and execute the local medical education strategy in collaboration with internal teams.Adapt global marketing and educational materials to meet local market needs and regulatory requirements.Participate in congresses, industry events, and conferences to stay close to market trends and innovations.Product Expertise & TrainingAct as a subject matter expert for the Trauma portfolio.Deliver product training to sales teams and customers, providing clinical and technical support where required.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with sales, marketing, brand, supply chain, and European teams to ensure aligned execution.Support internal communication initiatives and knowledge sharing across the organization.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).6+ years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in a marketing role (medical devices strongly preferred).Proven track record in:Developing and executing successful marketing strategiesSupporting new product launchesDriving profitable growth at local or regional levelStrong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.Comfortable influencing without direct authority in a matrix organization.Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in parallel.Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.High ethical standards and strong cultural awareness.Additional InformationLocation: Italy (ideally near Rome; flexibility possible)Travel: Approximately 50%Grade: 12People Management: No direct reportsWhy Join Stryker?Stryker is a global leader in Trauma, offering a dynamic and innovative environment with strong clinical exposure, continuous learning, and exciting product launches.This role provides high visibility, meaningful impact, and the opportunity to shape the future of Trauma solutions in the Italian market.Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.The company offers innovative products and services in MedSurg, Neurotechnology, Orthopaedics and Spine that help improve patient and healthcare outcomes.Alongside its customers around the world, Stryker impacts more than 150 million patients annually.#J-*****-Ljbffr
