Systems Engineer – TelcoAbout the RoleThe Systems Engineering team at Fortinet is a group of technically skilled and commercially aware professionals who are passionate about solving customer challenges through industry-leading cybersecurity solutions.We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and experiences who share our commitment to innovation, collaboration, and inclusion.Key ResponsibilitiesLead technical aspects of the sales cycle, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and project management of proof-of-concepts in partnership with internal teams, customers, and commercial partners.Listen actively to customer needs, interpret technical requirements, and design solutions that deliver exceptional value.Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, working closely with sales colleagues.Continuously expand knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions, while maintaining awareness of the competitive landscape and evolving cybersecurity threats.Communicate effectively with customers in person and remotely, using presentations, whiteboarding, technical papers, and discussions.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring a positive customer experience.Maintain accurate records of activities, contacts, and account information in Salesforce.QualificationsWe encourage applications from individuals with diverse experiences and transferable skills.You may be a strong candidate if you have:Aptitude for security technology, including encryption, authentication, and network security.Knowledge of intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN / WAN, or CISSP accreditation is a plus.Experience in a pre-sales engineering role, managing technical aspects of deals through closure.Demonstrated problem-solving skills that have contributed to successful outcomes.Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical concepts to varied audiences.Understanding of protocols and technologies such as RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, *****Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.What You Can Expect From UsComprehensive training and development opportunities to support your growth.An open, collaborative environment where knowledge is shared and all voices are respected.The chance to be part of an innovative, supportive, and high-performing team.Competitive compensation, including salary, stock awards, and opportunities for performance-based rewards.Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion#J-*****-Ljbffr
