OverviewThe EGSE & EMC Specialist Engineer is responsible for the design, validation, and operation of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) used for satellite and subsystem testing, as well as for ensuring Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) compliance during spacecraft integration and test (AIT) phases.The role involves close collaboration with AIT, Systems Engineering, and Test teams to guarantee functional integrity, test accuracy, and compliance with ESA/NASA and ECSS standards.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and validate EGSE systems (hardware and software) to support satellite functional and environmental testingPlan and perform EMC/ESD tests, measurements, and analysis to verify compliance with mission and regulatory requirementsDefine and implement test setups, procedures, and instrumentation for integration and qualification campaignsCollaborate with AIT teams during integration, environmental, and functional test activities, providing technical support and troubleshootingEnsure compliance with ESA/NASA standards, ECSS requirements, and customer specificationsManage calibration, maintenance, and documentation of EGSE and test equipmentSupport failure investigations and non-conformance resolution related to EGSE or EMC performanceContribute to continuous improvement of test methodologies, equipment design, and data managementInterface with suppliers and external laboratories for EMC/ESD testing and validationRequirementsDegree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical fieldProven experience in EGSE design, integration, and testing within aerospace or high-reliability environmentsExpertise in EMC/ESD testing, analysis, and mitigation techniquesHands-on laboratory experience with measurement instrumentation, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power systemsFamiliarity with ECSS standards, ESA/NASA testing procedures, and cleanroom operationsKnowledge of satellite subsystems, AIT processes, and electrical interfacesStrong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skillsProficiency in English (written and spoken)Possession of a driving license (Category B)Nice to HaveExperience with hardware/software EGSE development tools (e.g. LabVIEW, Python, NI TestStand)Knowledge of spacecraft power systems, TM/TC interfaces, and test automationFamiliarity with electrical safety standards, ESD control, and HSE requirementsExperience with EMC simulation tools and RF shielding designBenefitsA dynamic and stimulating work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Metalmeccanico (CCNL) with compensation based on experience and skills.SPACE INDUSTRIES is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within its workplace and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.Why Join Us?A unique opportunity for professional growth in a young and dynamic aerospace company.The chance to work on innovative projects with a global impact in the small satellite sector.A stimulating and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to contribute to shaping the company\'s future strategies.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionProductionIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting#J-*****-Ljbffr
