Field Service Technician - Mechanical Contract Type Permanent Country ITALY Location Parma Your opportunity Sidel is looking for a Field Service Engineer (FSE) specialized on Mechanic as a Field Service Engineer you will take responsibility for testing and evaluating the performance of equipment at customer plants.In this role, you will ensure that equipment operates according to technical, contractual, and safety specifications while performing regular activities and troubleshooting on mechanical systems and HMI, in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Your Mission We are seeking a highly qualified Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team.In this role, you will be responsible for testing, evaluating, and ensuring the performance of equipment at customer sites, while maintaining the highest standards of technical, contractual, and safety compliance.Main Responsibilities: Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer sites, ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, and safety specifications.Operate mechanical systems and HMI, handling routine activities and troubleshooting following SOPs.Perform basic electrical work such as cable wiring as needed.Properly handle, check, and transfer equipment non-conformities.Prepare Job Progress Charts and technical reports documenting the activities carried out.Ensure customer satisfaction both internally and externally.Perform activities in line with SOPs, Sidel coordination plans, and customer rules.Identify and report after-sales opportunities detected on-site.Coach junior colleagues on-site, providing guidance on technical activities, troubleshooting, and reporting.Your Profile Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.Languages: Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.Proficiency in additional languages (such as Italian, Spanish, or other regional languages) is a plus.Skills Process Management; Problem Solving; Action Orientated; Peer Relationships.By applying to this vacancy, the applicant acknowledges and agrees to the processing of his/her personal data included in the job application, as per Art. 13 of the Legislative Decree nr. 196 dated June 30th , **** "Italian data personal protection code" and per Art. 13 GDPR ( EU Regulation ******** ).
