Maintenance ManagerScandicci ItalyUnder the general direction of the Site SC&Operations Manager provides leadership for the Maintenance function within a high-performance team environment.Oversees the daily management of the function and drives improvement activities through the development of people and processes.Main ResponsibilitiesIMPROVEMENT ACTIVITIES: Utilizes TPM tools to build problem solving methodologies to implement continually improve processes within the function.Demonstrates a sense of urgency and tenacity to resolve problems and implement process improvements.TEAM MANAGEMENT: Leads a team of technicians in a manner consistent with the core beliefs and guiding principles of McCormick's High-Performance System.Utilizes coaching and facilitation skills to manage employee relations.Provides regular performance feedback and oversees development/training plans for individuals within the team.MANAGE KEY RESULT AREAS (Safety Quality Cost Reliability Customer Service etc.): Directs and supports the daily management of the team to prioritize work and achieve goals.Creates an atmosphere of 100% compliance to operational processes and procedures.COMMUNICATION: Communicates effectively across all levels of the organization.Creates a vision for the team that is in alignment with the Plant and McCormick.Communicates organizational and plant objectives.Candidate ProfileRelevant technical experience preferably within the food and beverage industryStrong knowledge of preventive maintenance (P.M.) practicesFull supervisory responsibility for a team ensuring motivation and professional development through effective leadershipDemonstrated ability to manage projects including successful completion of complex projectsProven experience in facility management (including HVAC systems) and energy managementSolid understanding of how maintenance integrates with other operational areasAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers vendors and key internal stakeholdersClose collaboration with Engineering and Area SupervisorsFluent English (required)Knowledge of ATEX regulations and management of explosive-risk areas is a strong advantageAgenciesMcCormick as needed will work with external recruitment vendors through our Agency Portal.Unless previously contacted McCormick does not accept unsolicited resumes from external recruiting agencies.McCormick & Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex gender identity sexual orientation race colour religion national origin disability protected veteran status age or any other characteristic protected by law.As users of the disability confident scheme we guarantee to interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the vacancy/ies.Required Experience:ManagerKey SkillsIndustrial Equipment, Industrial Maintenance, Facilities Management, CMMS, Ammonia Refrigeration, Maintenance Management, Plastics Blow Molding, OSHA, Maintenance, Programmable Logic Controllers, Supervising Experience, ManufacturingEmployment Type:Full-TimeExperience:yearsVacancy:1#J-*****-Ljbffr
