Dainese is the global leader in protective equipment and apparel of excellence for motorcycling and dynamic sports.Headquartered in Vicenza, Italy, the company has a presence in EMEA, APAC and the Americas.Dainese owns three prestigious brands - Dainese, AGV and TCX - which are synonymous with innovation and technical excellence.It is present in 96 countries through a consolidated network of wholesale partners, 45 mono-brand shops and a direct e-commerce channel.Dainese is looking for an Apparel Sourcing Manager.The candidate will join the Operations Department and will manage the sourcing and purchasing of finished goods in line with the company budget.YOU WILL BE IN CHARGE OF:Scouting new suppliers and materials based on market trends and facilitating resourcing activities in Asian countries.Negotiating prices with suppliers and implementing the "should cost" model.Constantly monitoring suppliers to ensure high service levels and timely deliveries in accordance with Production Planning schedules.Preparing periodic reports for management analysis.Reviewing tenders.Managing purchasing budgets, cost levels, and savings initiatives on direct spending to ensure significant cost reductions.Forecasting, planning, and accurately assessing needs.Ensuring consistency and data quality within the ERP system.Identifying opportunities to streamline office activities.WE'D LOVE TO GET TO KNOW YOU IF YOU:Have at least 5 years of experience in a Sourcing Department in a managerial or responsible role.Possess strong planning, organizational, financial, budgeting, and decision-making skills.Demonstrate strong market awareness, attention to detail, and solid problem-solving abilities.Have experience managing people and communicating effectively both internally and with Asian suppliers.Are skilled in stress management.Display leadership and teamwork capabilities.Show strong commercial awareness.Have good PC skills, especially in Microsoft Office and modern ERP systems.Have knowledge of apparel materials such as fabrics, accessories, and printing techniques.Are familiar with bulk production processes for apparel manufacturing in Asian countries.Availability to travel abroad in Asia is required
