Job Title Software Engineer in Test Automation ContractorLocation Remote – Time zone overlaps with GMT+9 or GMT+12Job Type ContractorDescription As a Software Engineer in Test Automation Contractor, you will focus on developing automated tests for our software.You will use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence software design, promote proper engineering practices, testability, and other advanced quality concepts.Essential Duties Own the automation testing frameworks and designWrite moderately complex code to test systemsWork with team members to keep testing at the forefront of our SDLCInject expertise on test case reusability and designDiscover common behaviors within the applications and translate these into automated testsDrive further adoption of unit / integration / system testing, metrics to monitor code coverage, bug prevention strategies, and other quality measuresMinimum Qualifications 7+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance7+ years of experience in test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging2+ years of experience in Automated testing using JavaScript / TypeScript / NodeJSExperience testing SaaS productsBlack box and white box experience and expertiseDesire to learn new technologiesExcellent written / oral English communication skillsDemonstrated attention to detailBS / BA in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in quality assuranceIdeal Qualifications 10+ years of relevant work experience in testing software and building automated test suites within a large-scale SaaS environment3+ years of experience in developing test automation in JavaScriptExperience with BDD, Cucumber, Cypress, SeleniumExperience with Continuous Delivery / Deployment and cloud deployment (AWS, Bamboo, Jenkins)Experience with Visual Studio Code or JetBrains tools - IntelliJStrong coding skills#J-*****-Ljbffr
