Lockheed Martin is a leading technology innovation company that plays a crucial role in national security, providing products and services for the United States and over 70 other countries.They have a workforce of over 30,000 with expertise in advanced aircraft design and production, modification and support, stealth technology, and systems integration.Job Description:This is a full-time, on-site position located at Amendola Air Base, Italy.It involves acting as the technical interface between Lockheed Martin's Aeronautics Field Sustainment team and the on-site customer (both operations and maintenance) for all matters related to the F-35 aircraft.The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving issues arising from maintenance or modification activities.The role can be divided into two areas:Manage Field Support Engineers (FSE) and assigned personnel at the base.Provide on-site support as requested by the customer, site manager, and program management.Ensure compliance with technical direction and contractual requirements.Ensure all support is provided in-line with Service Airworthiness Guidance and F-35 program technical data.Oversee compliance with the F-35 export workflow and associated export licenses.Manage employee selection/hiring, training, performance assessments, and customer relations.Nose to Tail (NTT) FSE Responsibilities:Be a subject matter expert (SME) in Vehicle Systems/APG, with desired expertise in Avionics/Mission Systems (MS) and Supportable Low Observable (SLO)/Structures.Troubleshoot and analyze technical difficulties in the field.Attend debriefings to identify emerging issues and prevent downtime.Document unusual operational/maintenance problems.Initiate Action Requests (ARs) to resolve unique operational problems.Provide training to customer personnel.Collaborate with maintainers and engineers from other F-35 companies.Provide on-site support for aircraft ground maintenance and operational limitations.Lead and track multiple engineering efforts.Travel may be required to worldwide and hazardous duty locations.Must possess a Secret Security Clearance and be eligible for F-35 Special Program Access.The position offers benefits including medical, dental, 401k, paid time off, work/life balance, career development, mentorship opportunities, and rewards & recognition.The job posting emphasizes experience; a Bachelor's Degree is considered the default minimum educational requirement, typical for aerospace and engineering roles.#J-*****-Ljbffr
