Services Product Line Quality Director

Job description:•Define and deploy Quality strategyfor Services product lines aligned with Transit Quality Strategy, including continuous improvement plans and cultural transformation initiatives•Monitor and control Quality performancethrough KPIs across Customer interface, Engineering, and Project Management to achieve customer targets and ensure on-time deliverables•Manage Customer Quality Interfaceas primary representative for quality matters, ensuring professional meeting preparation, achievement of committed targets, and timely escalation of issues•Lead quality organizationincluding PQE, Product Quality teams, and Regional Quality network while developing, training, and coaching team members on quality excellence•Ensure QMS complianceacross Services Sites and Transit QMS while supporting Quality BPO for process and tools deployment•Manage Safety cases and Hot issuesuntil LLC implementation is secured, with proper escalation from OU/PL to Regions/Transit level•Own quality budgetincluding preparation, execution, and follow-up aligned with product line strategy•Exercise stop/release authorityfor any Process/Product/Project (APQP) within the Product Line and all Operating Units to ensure quality standardsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related fieldExtensive experience in quality management within production/industrial settings, particularly in Automotive, Aerospace, Rail, or similar sectorsStrong background in Project Management and/or continuous improvement methodologiesProven ability to navigate complex, international matrix organizationsFluent in English (written and verbal)Who are we?Wabtec is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for the freight and transit rail sectors.
