CAW Electrical Technician(Sigonella, Italy)Company OverviewConti Federal Services is a leading global construction and engineering company with over 115 years of experience delivering demanding projects for the U.S. federal government.The company specializes in disaster preparedness, secure construction, critical infrastructure, and environmental remediation.Conti Federal prioritizes safety, integrity, and compliance, fostering a diverse workforce and an entrepreneurial, energetic atmosphere.ResponsibilitiesElectrical demolition as required for renovation projects.Construction and installation of power and lighting systems infrastructure and equipment per contract drawings and specifications.Diagnose electrical problems using diagrams or blueprints.Inspect, troubleshoot, and conduct testing of electrical systems and equipment.Pinpoint problems using a range of testing devices.Installation of Fire Alarm infrastructure and devices.Installation & programming of Intrusion Detection Systems and Access Control Systems.Installation of CAT 6 and Fiber Optic Cabling to include terminations.Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.Comply with all safety standards and regulations of the National Electrical Code & USACE EM-*******.Construction and installation of RF Shielding & STC Mitigation equipment/materials per ICD/ICS 705, UFC ******** and "Best Practices Guideline For Architectural Radio Frequency Shielding".Ability to work with and assist all trades on project site.QualificationsMinimum Qualification: A Bachelor's degree, OR an Associate's degree plus 4 years of recent specialized experience, OR a High School degree and 8 years of recent specialized experience.Current DoD Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required.Security Clearance Requirements – must be a U.S. Citizen.U.S. Federal government experience required.Must have experience completing complex construction projects.Demonstrated ability to deal with different variables of a project such as difficult client and/or complexity of scope of work.Extensive knowledge of various areas of construction for trades coordination.Working knowledge and implementation of ICD/ICS 705 and UFC ********.Working knowledge of the Safety Requirements of the National Electrical Code and USACE EM-*******.Exceptional teamwork, communication, and people skills are essential.Proficient with renovations and new construction projects.Valid 10-year passport with at least 2 years of remaining validity and/or a valid 4-year passport with at least 2 years of remaining validity preferred.Pay & BenefitsConti Federal offers medical, dental, and vision coverage from day one, 401(k) matching, life insurance, Employee Assistance Program, wellness programs, and many other optional programs.Pre-Employment Drug TestAll applicants who receive a conditional offer of employment must take a pre-employment drug test and receive a negative result as a condition of hire.Equal OpportunityConti Federal is an equal opportunity employer and does not promote or enforce any preferences or workforce balancing on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual preference, religion, or national origin.Accessibility: If you need an accommodation as part of the employment process please contact Human Resources.ContactPhone:Email:#J-*****-Ljbffr
