Company DescriptionWould you like to work in a technological company dedicated to the development of medical solutions?Inpeco is the world leader in the automation of clinical laboratories, where we create innovative robotic solutions to manage biological samples.Our systems reduce the possibility of human error, limit the risks of contamination and guarantee complete traceability of the sample.Our solutions support over 2,700 clinical laboratories worldwide.The Inpeco Group has its headquarters in Novazzano (Switzerland), a production plant in Val della Torre (Torino), a site dedicated to Innovative Projects in Pula (Sardinia), a small site in Verona and five reference locations for the foreign market in Brussels (Belgium), United States, Germany, France and Spain.What are you waiting for?Come join the Inpeco team and innovate with usPositionWe are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Val della Torre (TO).The selected candidate will play a key role providing the Research and Development and Product Development departments with technical expertise and skills for the design, production, and maintenance of hardware components, in accordance with agreed timelines and applicable regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign of mechanical Automation Systems, component drawings and component sizing;Collaborates with the Technical Documentation and Manuals group;Identifies solutions that meet design requirements and comply with the primary needs of product robustness on the one hand and the best requirements of assembly, maintainability, cost-effectiveness, ergonomics, usability, and aesthetics on the other;Plays an active, proactive, and innovative role by researching, proposing, and developing the best technological solutions to be adopted and standardized in the company's product range;Ensures the accuracy, completeness, and updating of technical data in the documents produced;Collaborates with the Prototyping group during the prototype assembly phase and is responsible for collecting and implementing the improvements proposed during prototype assembly;Actively supports Service and Production, ensuring, in the HW field, the investigation of causes and the definition of both preventive and corrective solutions to the problem in question, whether it arises in the field or during assembly;Supports Procurement in the search, evaluation, selection, and engagement of suitable suppliers and in the management of obsolescence and hard-to-find materials.RequirementsOver 10 years of experience in the role (Automation field)Bachelor degree or Master in engineering;Knowledge of 3D CadKnowledge of PDM / PLMGood use of Office SuiteProblem solvingUse of FEM tools and in general simulation tools for structural analysisKnowledge of robotic Systems (Cartesian, Scara, Anthropomorphic)Nice to HaveKnowledge of SolidworksKnowledge of sim tool for thermal analysisKnowledge of mechanical production methods (CAM, injection mold, 3D printing, etc...)Other informationWhat we offera dynamic work environment where you can make a difference and grow your career;smart working (depends on the role);company restaurant for the lunch break;agreements for bank account, credit card and personal purchases;opportunity of professional and salary growth through various initiatives:annual performance appraisal in order to evaluate the achievement of individual objectives;inner job posting to apply for career opportunities in Inpeco, even between different locations;annual salary review linked to performance and professional development;continuous training on the job, through meetings or conferences, seminars and events#J-*****-Ljbffr
