Sr Strategic Sourcing Manager, AWS HW Design and Manufacturing PartnershipsJob ID: ******* | Amazon Data Services, Inc.AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, supporting data centers and servers that keep the cloud running.We work on complex supply-chain challenges and seek talented people to help deliver safety, security, and cost-efficient capacity for our customers.The role is part of the AIS-SC organization, partnering with AWS's most strategic hardware suppliers to source, negotiate, and execute contracts that align with business objectives while maintaining sustainable relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary relationship manager for a strategic supply partner providing design, development, manufacturing, and integration services for AWS servers and rack integration.Matrix-manage supplier performance across cost, quality, capacity, delivery, compliance, sustainability, and overall supply strategy.Negotiate and execute complex supplier agreements, SOWs, and contracts in collaboration with cross-functional leads.Partner with teams to deliver RFPs, evaluate vendor responses, and align on business awards.Drive AWS's cost objectives through detailed cost-driver analysis and bill-of-material reviews.Develop and negotiate sourcing strategies that align with business goals while maintaining sustainable supplier relationships.Inform senior leadership of business status, risk, and opportunities via written narratives and executive updates.Manage vendor escalations and provide executive-level updates as required.Prepare and present data-driven business reviews for senior management focused on procurement execution and supply continuity.Identify technology trends and drive supplier product roadmaps that align with AWS technical development and manufacturing initiatives.Basic QualificationsKnowledge of basic supply agreement construction and key contracting provisions.Bachelor's or advanced degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related quantitative field, or 6+ years of related experience.6+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement of hardware (or 4+ with an advanced degree).3+ years of experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, etc.5+ years of related supply chain experience in cloud computing, high technology, or consumer electronics.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of the semiconductor industry, processes, technologies, and key suppliers.Global supply chain process knowledge; demonstrated ability to negotiate and execute complex global sourcing contracts.Experience creating and improving end-to-end global sourcing, procurement, and supply chain strategies with third-party manufacturing.Experience with international procurement, trade, and incoterms.Excellent creative thinking skills focused on developing innovative solutions to complex problems.MBA or advanced degree in engineering, operations research, logistics, mathematics, or other quantitative disciplines.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.If you have a disability and need accommodation, please visitAmazon accommodations page.Pay ranges from $133,200 to $220,200 per year plus potential equity, sign-on bonuses, and benefits.For more information, visitAmazon benefits.This position will remain posted until filled.Applicants should apply via our internal or external career site.#J-*****-Ljbffr
