Join Our Team as a Logistics AnalystAre you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for supply chain efficiency and seamless logistics operations?We are looking for a Logistics Analyst to ensure the smooth flow of finish products and raw materials, critical to our pharmaceutical business.The positionThe position will be responsible for the global logistics flows management and execution.He/she will be developing logistic BDG consolidation, spending control and KPIs at global level supporting the logistic footprint re-design.Key responsibilities:Act as the key operational liaison with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and warehousesMonitor and analyze logistics KPIs (e.G. OTIF, lead times, service level, claims) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunitiesConduct root cause analysis of logistics issues and propose data-driven solutionsTrack and control transportation and warehousing costs, identifying cost-saving opportunitiesPrepare detailed monthly/quarterly reports to support strategic decision-makingCoordinate with Quality Assurance to investigate recurring complaints and contribute to corrective actionsLead and support continuous improvement projects and process standardization effortsCollaborate with IT to implement digital tools and enhance logistics data flowsSpecific Skills, Educational Requirements and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in logistics or business analysis, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sectorSolid understanding of supply chain KPIs and performance metricsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools (e.G., Power BI)Experience with ERP and/or WMS systems (SAP preferred)Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyFluency in English (written and spoken); Demonstrated analytical, strategic thinking and problem solving skillsExperience in a GMP/GDP-compliant environmentFamiliarity with pharmaceutical cold chain or controlled-temperature logisticsCompany:Alfasigma is a global pharmaceutical company founded over 75 years ago in Italy, where it is headquartered (in Bologna and Milan).The Group operates in over 100 markets spanning Europe, North and South America, Asia, and Africa.It has offices in many countries, including Italy, the US, Spain, Germany, Mexico, and China; production sites in Italy (Pomezia, RM; Alanno, PE; Sermoneta, LT; Trezzano Rosa, MI), Spain (Tortosa, Baix Ebre), and the United States (Shreveport, Louisiana); and R&D labs in Italy (Pomezia and Bergamo).Alfasigma employs approximately 4,000 people dedicated to research, development, production, and distribution of medicinal products, contributing to its mission to provide better health and a better quality of life for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.It focuses on three main therapeutic areas: Gastroenterology, Vascular, and Rheumatology.Its portfolio spans from primary care to specialty care, rare disease medications, and consumer health products, including medical foods and nutraceuticals.
