Project Development Manager

Main ResponsibilitiesOriginate and develop new PV and BESS projects.Screen, filter and select project opportunities.Properly assess the commercial & contractual terms of each opportunity ensuring its economic viability.Also evaluating & understanding both the business and the financial model.Conduct the corresponding prefeasibility studies and assessments with respect to the opportunities.Ensure projects reach ready to build status by managing the relationship with the relevant stakeholders such as developers, authorities, landowners, grid operators, offtakers, advisors, etc.Link and work with local authorities, utility companies and private entities.Coordinate the tasks and inputs of the Engineering team as well as the supporting functions such as Legal, Tax, and Finance team – and eventually external advisors - during the development phase as well as during the acquisition and sale phase, if applicable.Lead negotiations and execution of land contracts with landowners and/or public authorities.Perform and implement the Financial and Business Memorandums (IC Memo) and manage all the required internal approval processes providing Management Information and ensuring the right level of control during implementation of the opportunities across the various stages (origination, development, construction and sale).Keep yourself/herself timely and fully informed on any market development and industry news/events in order to quickly identify business opportunities.Requirements+ 5 years' experience in the development of renewable projects (Solar PV - AgroPV - BESS is a plus).Deep knowledge of the Italian PV and BESS sector, specific regulation and high development experience in the country of large-scale projects, medium and small projects as well of Solar PV and BESS facilities.Proven experience in negotiating and closing commercial transactions with landlords, developers, equity partners, final consumers (due diligence, acquisition, JVs, SPA contract negotiation, EPC Contracts, PLAs/Licenses for Solar Projects)Deep understanding of the permitting processes in Italy application and regulation.Proven experience in multinational environments and complex organizationsFluent English is mandatory; other languages are a plus.Skills and CompetenciesStrong analytical skills, capable of focusing on the most relevant topics prioritizing and to properly identify the key risks.Strong knowledge of Solar Business in Italy.Excellent Team-player, capable of actively supporting the fulfilment of team objectives with a clear supporter attitude.Flexible attitude, with the ability to effectively manage unexpected changes.Good communication skills, capable to communicate clearly and effectively and to manage executive communications.Highly motivated professional, able to work under pressure.Why us?Join ouryoung and dynamic teamin RomeEnjoy ahybrid work model(2 days remote / 3 in-office),employee benefitslike meal vouchers and welfare programs, and a workplace where your ideas truly matter.About usTrina Solar Limited (TSL) is the world ´s leading comprehensive solutions provider for Solar Energy internationally, with a growing presence throughout Asia, Europe and Americas.Since its foundation in **** in China, the company has been increasing its competitiveness and efficiency through a fully vertical integration of its business structure, which allows it to remain as a recognized manufacturer of high-quality PV modules (for commercial, industrial and utility scale applications) and manage the development of diversified PV utility projects (including designing, implementing and operating, both for off-grid and on-grid applications).#J-*****-Ljbffr
