Company OverviewSPACE INDUSTRIES is a dynamic and rapidly growing company operating in the aerospace sector, with a strong commitment to innovation, reliability, and mission excellence.The company supports complex space programs and provides end-to-end mission operations, ensuring high standards of performance and operational success.Position OverviewSpace Industries S.p.A., a leading aerospace company specializing in the assembly, integration, and testing of small satellites, is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Technical Facility Manager to oversee and manage all technical infrastructure, utilities, and equipment supporting production, integration, and test operations.The ideal candidate will combine strong technical and electronic expertise with solid experience in facility operations, ensuring that all systems, machinery, and utilities are fully functional, compliant, and reliable to support aerospace-grade activities (cleanrooms, AIT areas, test facilities).This is a hands-on role requiring autonomy, technical competence, and a proactive approach to maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement of the facility's performance.Main ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain all technical facilities, utilities, and equipment used in satellite production and testing (electrical systems, HVAC, compressed air, vacuum systems, cleanrooms, test chambers, etc.)Ensure operational availability, safety, and compliance of all infrastructure with aerospace and industrial standardsSupervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities on machinery and technical systems, coordinating internal and external resourcesSupport the setup and commissioning of new equipment, test benches, and technical installationsMonitor and optimize the performance of utilities (power supply, compressed air, cooling systems, etc.)Collaborate with AIT and Test teams to ensure facility readiness for integration and test campaignsImplement and maintain facility documentation: maintenance plans, technical records, calibration schedules, and safety checklistsManage relationships with external suppliers, contractors, and service providersSupport HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) compliance and contribute to safety risk assessmentsParticipate in audits and inspections (internal, customer, or agency)Propose and lead improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and reliability of the facilityPropose and support investment planning for facility maintenance and improvement, ensure timely procurement of materials and toolsRequirementsTechnical diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical fieldsAt least 5 years of experience in technical facility management within aerospace, industrial, or high-tech environmentsStrong technical background in electrical and electronic systems, machinery operations, and facility utilitiesHands-on experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of complex equipmentKnowledge of cleanroom operations, HVAC systems, and technical safety standardsFamiliarity with ECSS standards and aerospace-grade facility requirements is a plusAbility to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and solve technical issues proactivelyGood knowledge of English (written and spoken)Holder of a valid category B driving licensePreferred QualificationsExperience in space or defense sector facilitiesExperience of test environments operation (thermal vacuum, vibration, EMC)Certification or training in maintenance management or facility engineeringBenefitsWhat We OfferA dynamic and stimulating work environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentMetalmeccanico (CCNL) with compensation based on experience and skillsSPACE INDUSTRIES is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within its workplace and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.Why Join Us?A unique opportunity for professional growth in a young and dynamic aerospace company.The chance to work on innovative projects with a global impact in the small satellite sector.A stimulating and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to contribute to shaping the company's future strategies.#J-*****-Ljbffr
