Energy Dome is a company with revolutionary technology for large scale and long duration energy storage.Our proprietary technology is based on a thermodynamic process that uses CO2 to store electricity cost-effectively with unprecedented round-trip efficiencies.The simplicity of the process as well as the use of readily available off-the-shelf equipments opens the way for Energy Dome to quickly become an important player in the energy storage market.Our organization, made up of bright young engineers and professionals from all over the world, is constantly growing and today we are looking for a:Quality Control Engineer with a solid understanding of industrial, power or chemical plant quality control principles, and a deep desire to be an active contributor in the energy transition industry.Quality Control Engineer will report to the Quality Control Manager .Previous experience in QC Engineering roles withing Enginering/Manufacturing site or similar industry, or experience in QC activity in a similar field, would be preferred.Support Energy Dome in its growth and challenges, bringing fresh nourishments to our ideas and a courageous critical spirit.Be remarkable in your role, bringing knowledge, mentoring younger people and becoming a reliable reference point for the whole company.Creation, review and/or approval of Project Inspection and Test Plans, based on contractual requirement and internal standardsReview and approval of preliminary vendor's procedures like welding book, NDE procedure, PWHT procedure, Hardness Test procedure, etc...Review and approval of Inspection and Test Records including Final Manufacturing Record books (MRB), issuing Inspection Release Note at timeCarry out inspection activities directly (when needed) during the manufacturing progress as well as at final stage, by performing VDI and/or attending other inspections tasks like NDE, hydrostatic test, etc...Provide QC support to all internal/external customers, by managing correspondence and keeping a good and productive relationshipEnsure that Company QC Targets are reachedPromote the Company culture as well as QHSE policyPromote a health, safe and environmentally responsible working environmentExperience in welding, fabrication and standard NDE techniques.Knowledge of major Codes for pressure Vessel (ASME/EN), Pressure Piping (ASME/EN), Structural Codes (ASCI/EN) and all major Directive/Code/Norms like PED Directive, Machinery Directive, EN****+ISO****, AWS D1.European welding engineers or technologist (desirable)Painting certification NACE or FROSIO (Desirable)Languages: Italian + professional English are mandatoryWillingness to travel in Italy and abroad is mandatoryA genuine interest in clean technologies and energy transitionEnergy Dome is a young but fast growing company, and we are constantly looking for professionals who want to grow with us and support us in structuring and organizing the main processes and projects.Smart working and ticket restaurantProfessional development opportunities and training programsEnergy Dome is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status, and we encourage all qualified individuals to apply.
