Join to apply for theKnowledge Specialist - Automotive Segmentrole atUL SolutionsJob DescriptionServe as the key expert contact for compliance requirements in the automotive segment, with specialized expertise in automotive materials and plastic testing.This role ensures regulatory alignment, supports business expansion initiatives, and provides strategic insights to stakeholders across multiple countries and automotive components.ResponsibilitiesCompliance Expertise: Act as the primary point of contact for compliance requirements in the automotive segment, with a strong focus on regulatory adherence.Automotive Materials & Testing: Provide specialized expertise in automotive materials, particularly plastics, including testing protocols, standards, and performance requirements.Regulatory Monitoring: Track regulatory trends and proactively communicate upcoming changes to relevant stakeholders.Opportunity Identification: Identify business opportunities and translate complex regulatory and market insights into clear, actionable information for COU stakeholders.Research Coordination: Independently manage research and studies involving multiple products, regulations, and countries.Business Expansion Support: Assist in actions related to Global Market Access (GMA) business expansion, monitor opportunities, and track results from COUs.QualificationsBachelor's Degree required.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automotive sector.Deep knowledge of the TIC business and the industries in which the business functions.Able to connect the regulation rules with customer needs and business opportunities.Natural influencing skills, confident and able to deliver the message.Ability to network and build relationship with internal and external stakeholders and lead/facilitate collaboration toward a common goal.Able to deal in the ambiguity and take decisions, support customer in understanding their problem and provide valid solutions based on their knowledge schemes and past experiences.Experienced and knowledgeable for a certain geographic area, specific areas of regulations.Excellent in communication, able to summarize requirements and describe with easy word difficult concept, network builder.Bachelors Degree Engineering, or other specialization based on the specific coverage, preferred.HybridLocation: Carugate, Lombardy, ItalyAbout UsA global leader in applied safety science, UL Solutions (NYSE: ULS) transforms safety, security and sustainability challenges into opportunities for customers in more than 110 countries.UL Solutions delivers testing, inspection and certification services, together with software products and advisory offerings, that support our customers' product innovation and business growth.The UL Mark serves as a recognized symbol of trust in our customers' products and reflects an unwavering commitment to advancing our safety mission.We help our customers innovate, launch new products and services, navigate global markets and complex supply chains, and grow sustainably and responsibly into the future.Our science is your advantage.#J-*****-Ljbffr
