OverviewThe AI orchestration of your wildest imagination.n8n is the open workflow orchestration platform built for the new era of AI.We give technical teams the freedom of code with the speed of no-code, so they can automate faster, smarter, and without limits.Backed by a community and 500+ builder-approved integrations, we're changing the way people bring systems together and scale ideas for impact.Since our founding in ****, we've grown into a diverse team of over 160, working across Europe and the US, with a centre of gravity in Berlin.That's the company we've built.Now we'd love to see what you can build.If you're applying, try n8n out — whether you're technical or not — and share a screenshot of your first workflow with us.The easiest place to start is here: app.n8n.cloud/register.We're in a defining moment of an incredible journey.Come and build with us.About The RoleAs a Solutions Engineer, you will be the primary technical partner for our Enterprise sales engagements.You'll work closely with Account Executives to guide prospects through technical discovery, product evaluations, and proofs of concept — helping them validate that n8n can operate securely, reliably, and at scale in their environment.This is a customer-facing, hands-on role focused on complex Enterprise use cases.You will spend your time working directly with technical stakeholders, leading technical conversations, and ensuring Enterprise customers clearly understand how n8n fits into their systems and processes.What You'll Be DoingLead Enterprise technical discovery, deep-dive calls, and tailored demos, showing how n8n fits into complex customer environments while addressing security, scalability, and reliability requirementsPartner closely with Account Executives to assess technical fit, shape deal strategy, and handle technical objections, delivering demos grounded in real Enterprise workflows and use casesOwn Enterprise POCs end-to-end, from scoping success criteria to hands-on technical guidance throughout the evaluationHelp customers validate n8n in real-world conditions and capture POC learnings to improve qualification, conversion, and handoff to Solution Architecture/Customer SuccessBuild strong relationships with IT, Security, Platform, and Engineering stakeholders, acting as the primary technical contact during Enterprise evaluationsClearly explain n8n's approach to security, deployment, governance, and scale, helping customers plan adoption beyond their first use caseCollaborate with Sales to improve Enterprise technical discovery, demos, and POC frameworksProvide structured feedback from Enterprise customers to Product and Engineering, and contribute to enablement materials that strengthen Enterprise sales motionsMust-have Sales Engineering Experience: You have 6+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales or Sales Engineering role, ideally within B2B SaaS, with direct exposure to enterprise customers Excellent Communication Skills: You can clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and confidently engage with enterprise stakeholders Commercial Acumen: You understand sales processes and can creatively translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions Relationship Building: You excel at building and maintaining relationships with clients, particularly within infrastructure teams on deployment requirements Strong Technical Proficiency: You bring hands-on experience with:API integrations, OAuth, and authentication/authorization conceptsJavaScript and/or Python for scripting, integrations, or demosContainerization and orchestration concepts (Docker, Kubernetes)CI/CD and DevOps practices, including integrating applications into CI/CD pipelinesNetworking fundamentals, security best practices, and observability concepts?? Cloud & Infrastructure Awareness: You have a solid understanding of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and common cloud services used in modern SaaS architectures Startup Experience: You thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership startup environments and enjoy wearing multiple hats??
