About TMEIC EuropeTMEIC drives industry around the world through a comprehensive offering of unique systems solutions including variable frequency drives, motors, generators, flywheels, photovoltaic inverters, BESS inverters and advanced automation systems for a wide range of industrial and energy applications.TMEIC was established in **** through the integration of the industrial systems divisions of Toshiba Corporation and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation.General Role DescriptionThe HR Generalist EMEA is responsible for supporting people management, organization, and culture systems that enable achievement of the Company's Mid-Range Plan (MRP) commitments.This role involves supporting recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, compliance with local employment regulations and other HR functions across multiple EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) countries.The ideal candidate will have a understanding of European employment laws and experience in working in a multinational environment.Role AccountabilitiesRecruitmentEnsure full lifecycle recruitment programs to comply with local regulations in each EMEA location.Coordinate pre-hire activities and deliver onboarding sessions for new hires.Foster a company culture centered on diversity, transparency, integrity, and inclusionEmployer Branding & Talent ManagementManage and promote talent management initiativesRelationship with University, Placement office and participate in career fairsHR Policies and ProceduresBe accountable to maintain and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and Company's Values.Keep the staff handbook updated as necessary.HRISSupport the implementation of HR ERPPayrollManage Timesheets system and coordinate with consultants to finalize payroll for each EMEA location in a timely mannerHandle payroll-related documentation and monthly HR data preparationBenefits and welfare administrationSupport on HR reports related to KPIs (e.g., absenteeism, overtime, total employment cost).Training and DevelopmentSupport the European HR Manager in the annual Personal Development Review (PDR) process, including compensation adjustments, objectives, and training plans.Support the implementation of trainingsHealth and SafetyMaintain and update the Health and Safety procedure to comply with local regulations in each EMEA locationOrganize and monitor medical examinations and certification as required by local regulationOrganize and monitor mandatory Safety Training for all employeesGDPR RegulationEnsure GDPR compliance and maintain updated processes in line with local regulations.General Employee AccountabilitiesBring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by managerNotify the manager promptly when work cannot be delivered as specified.Collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by managerExemplify Company Core Values: Teamwork and Accountability, Client Focus, Driving Progress and IntegrityComply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and lawsRecommend viable improvements proactivelyEnsure effective utilization of business tools and processesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldAround 3 years of experience HR function to achieve business goalsGood understanding of European labour laws, GDPR, and employment regulationsDemonstrated use of keen business acumen to develop effective HR strategies and priorities for improved business resultsDemonstrated ability to manage tasks with hands-on, tactical workDemonstrated success implementing, measuring, and improving HR programsDemonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contactsDemonstrated successful and positive interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skillsDemonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibilityProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteFluency in Italian and English languagesAvailability to travel, domestically and internationally, sometimes with limited noticePreferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldMulti-functional project management experience or management experience in a business function in addition to HRDemonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally in a global, multicultural organization (preferably Japanese)Proficiency in HRIS (HR Information Systems)Experience supporting diverse employee base spanning multiple geographic locations, domestically and internationallyProficiency in an additional Language (e.g., German, Arabic, Spanish, French)#J-*****-Ljbffr
