Description The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall management and optimization of maintenance activities, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability of Catania and Medolla sites.The role must ensure that the sites are maintained in accordance with good engineering practice, statutory requirements, and EHS and GMP standards and approved budget.Responsibilities Team Supervision Manage, recruit, and develop a team of qualified maintenance technicians Provide inspirational leadership, mentorship, and training programs to ensure continuous professional growth Maintenance Planning Develop strategic plans for preventive maintenance, aiming to minimize operational disruptions and extend the lifespan of equipment Implement performance monitoring systems to predict and prevent failures Coordination of Maintenance Activities Coordinate resources to efficiently execute corrective maintenance activities Promptly address issues and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence of failures Resource Management Optimize the utilization of financial, human, and material resources allocated to the department Negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of critical parts and materials Collaboration with Other Departments Collaborate closely with production, quality, and safety managers to ensure mutual understanding of operational needs and achieve common goals Adoption of Innovative Technologies Identify and implement innovative technologies, such as predictive maintenance systems, to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs Budget Management Participate in defining the departmental budget and ensure adherence, constantly seeking opportunities to optimize expenses without compromising maintenance quality Workplace Safety Oversee the implementation of workplace safety protocols and ensure that the team adheres to high safety standards during maintenance activities Qualifications
