We deliver across the medical spectrum from primary care and occupationalBeschaffung to advanced pre-hospital trauma care, through to full-scale laboratory, radiological, diagnostic and surgical capabilities.Duties and responsibilitiesThe Dental Assistant is responsible for supporting the Dentist in the delivery of a high standard of basic, emergency, and preventative dental care.- Prepare the patient and assist the Dentist in all clinical procedures and examinations in a timely accurate and safe manner- Follow best practices to maintain patient confidentiality ensuring that all medical records are properly kept and maintained- Will decontaminate and sterilize dental equipment as required in line with the relevant SOP and maintain strict infection control standards- Prepares the consultation rooms, ensuring the rooms are clean, stocked and always ready to accept a patient- Ensures best practice in line with clinical guidelines and SOPs- frm maintain best practice standards of hygiene and cross-infection control, according to the latest clinical guidelines and policy- Monitors stock level for material and consumables and liaise with the responsible person on orderingThis list is non-exhaustive?? and the role holder may be required to undertake additional duties that are not specifically listed above.QualificationsQualified Dental Nurse with a minimum of 2 Years post qualification experienceAdditional InformationRotations are typically 8 weeks on duty and 8 weeks off duty.
