About this opportunityProject Manager - Lead Technical Advisor (DFE)Must have experience working on Department for Education projects, and be Chartered, or working towards the final stages of obtaining.ResponsibilitiesSupporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectivesPositively engaging with customers and developing, growing and maintaining customer relationshipsDelivering high quality services and deliverables ensuring that services meet our Customer's requirements.Managing projects and/or programmes to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the business proceduresAdministering contracts as a contract administrator, employer's agent or project manager.Producing and presenting to customersIdentifying new business development opportunities and driving growth across the business units activitiesManaging service delivery for profit.Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance.As a Gleeds team member, you will have access to:Opportunities to develop and grow your careerA contributory pension schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeOur Global Travel Scholarship ProgrammeFlexible working arrangementsWho we're looking for:Experience, Knowledge and Key SkillsSound project management and/or programme management experience post qualification.Sound knowledge and practiced experience of project management techniquesAbility to administer construction contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer's Agent and/or Project ManagerClear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts.Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily.Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skillsSound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to work as part of a team.QualificationsMRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)MAPM (Member of the Association of Project Managers)MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders)About usGleeds is a global property and construction consultancy with over 150 years of expertise, operating in 28 countries worldwide.From iconic landmarks to critical infrastructure, we drive innovation, sustainability and value, delivering transformative projects that shape communities and redefine the built environment.#J-*****-Ljbffr
