NXP's Industrial & IoT Edge solutions range from the smallest MCUs to very high-performance processors to provide real-time insights and efficient automation when performance matters most.NXP's advanced portfolio of edge processing solutions lets developers explore their most innovative ideas with confidence, enabling applications across the autonomous home, industrial automation, and personal electronics.NXP is building new teams in Catania to create high impact microcontrollers (MCU) as part of NXP's intelligent AI at the Edge.This team will include a wide range of engineering talent from analog to SOC digital design.Full product development local will product world class products at a world class pace.This team will include all key engineering disciplines in Design, Architecture, Verification, DfT and Physical Design to produce high performance and quality products.We are now hiring for Analog Design Leaders to join the team.Role SummaryDefine analog/mixed signal IP requirements based on product requirementsDefine innovative circuit architectures to meet requirementsCreate and ensure robust and high-quality IP from requirementsMay include leading small teams of analog and digital designers to implement solutionsEnd-to-end ownership for the implementation, simulation, layout, and validation of mixed signal IP for microcontrollers (MCUs).This IP could be data converters (ADC, DAC), clock generators (crystal oscillators, free running oscillators, PLL) or any other miscellaneous analog or mixed signal IP that adds value to NXP MCUs productsLead engineering lead on IP development including working with other analog, digital and verification resources but also working with the SOC product leads or optimal integration of the IPImplementation of IP including leading design reviews, creating documentation of IPs and support of productization of IPs (production test, life test, etc).Your ResponsibilityDefine specification for IP based on product requirementsEnsure specification are realized via simulation (behavioral, transistor level or combinations) and that they are realized in siliconDrive SOC teams on quality integration of IP within an SOC productDocumentation of the design, design reviews, and integration requirements of IPSupport the productization of IP – characterization, production test, life testing.Your ProfileBachelor's degree in electronic/electrical engineering required, Master's degree is preferred15+ years of product development experienceExperience with one more more of these IP areas: ADC, DAC, PLL, Oscillators, References, LDO, DC-DC, amplifiers, filtersExperience creating and using behavorial models is a plus (AMS, DMS, Matlab, System-C or equivalent)Strong communication and team work skills are requiredMentoring and development of junior engineersCommitment At NXPWe recognize we can be a powerful change agent as we continue to deliver innovative solutions that advance a more sustainable future.We remain steadfast in our commitment to sustainability and making measurable year-on-year progress.Also, we aim to create an inclusive work environment and we will not tolerate racism, discrimination or harassment of any kind.We have programs in place focused on diversity, inclusion and equality.More information about NXP in Italy...#J-*****-Ljbffr
