Ehs Specialist

Overview The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist will lead the implementation, execution and maintenance of the environmental, health and safety and process safety management systems at low to medium complex facility, or help lead at a high complex facility.In this role, you will serve as a subject matter authority for the application of safe, compliant operational practices and demonstrate compliance with company policy, work processes, programs and standards that comply with environmental, health and safety regulations.Key Accountabilities Support the plant manager in facilitating the community and governmental interaction and the external reputation.Support contractor environmental, health and safety requirements during construction phase and help test and evaluate environmental, health and safety performance according to design during project startup phase.Partner with regional domain and country environmental, health and safety to support management of site impact assessments, operating permits and construction permits.Support suitable training content and delivery mode, in line with global, regional and national requirements, conduct gap assessment to identify training needs, adjust curriculum to reflect site specific needs and deliver training.Organize health surveillance of the site(s) in collaboration with the competent doctor.Take on the role of RSPP for the requested sites/office.Manage and organize ISO ***** certification audits and other certifications as required.Attend, organize and report on safety meetings.Conduct internal audits at other company sites as well.Collaborate and support the employer in the site/office during the risk assessment process.Support the plant manager in obtaining the necessary operating permitsCollaborate with the authorities to obtain and maintain permits.Prepare the reports required by the permits for the authorities.Support the plant manager during inspections by the authoritiesUnderstand, localize and integrate company and legally required work processes, programs and controls into site level operating procedures, tools and work instructions to standardize front line processes and monitor, analyze and adjust for improved performance.Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experienceDemonstrated work experience in EHSKnowledge of advanced Italian language and English (medium)MS Office SuitePreferred Qualifications Safety Trainer Qualification in accordance with Decreto Interministeriale del 6 marzo ****.Confirmed ability to deliver processes effectively to optimize business resourcesStrong scientific and mathematical knowledgeSolid working knowledge of food safety industry practices and standardsBasic business acumen and the ability to partner and communicate effectively with business counterpartsOur Offer We provide a fast paced stimulating international environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.We also offer competitive salary and benefits combined with outstanding career development opportunities in one of the largest and most solid private companies in the world.How to Apply Interested?Then make sure to send us your CV and cover letter in English today:Follow us on LinkedIn: is committed to being an inclusive employer.Click here to find out more Details Seniority level: AssociateEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Quality AssuranceIndustries: Chemical Manufacturing, Food and Beverage Services, and Food and Beverage ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Cargill by 2xGet notified about new Environmental Health Safety Specialist jobs in Sospiro, Lombardy, Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
