Join to apply for the Field engineer manager role at fortilFortil is an international engineering and technology consulting group built on an independent model, bringing together over 2,500 employees.With 30 offices across 14 countries, Fortil fosters entrepreneurial freedom and the empowerment of individual potential.Role OverviewThe Field Engineer Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating on-site engineering activities in oil and gas projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and technically compliant execution.This role leads a team of field engineers, provides technical support during project execution, and acts as the key liaison between field operations and project management.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the field engineering team across all project phases (commissioning, start-up, operations, maintenance).Ensure field activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety/environmental regulations.Coordinate with Project Managers to align field operations with project schedules and objectives.Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshoot engineering issues on-site.Oversee and ensure the proper completion of technical documentation, field reports, and punch lists.Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure quality execution.Participate in and promote HSE meetings, toolbox talks, and safety initiatives.Ensure implementation of operating procedures, quality assurance systems, and field engineering best practices.RequirementsDegree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related discipline).Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector.Fluent in English (written and spoken).Why join us?Personalized support to help you grow your skillsAn ecosystem that encourages you to step outside your comfort zoneThe opportunity to become a shareholderInvolvement in community and non-profit projectsA dedicated policy to support parenthoodFortil is committed to equal opportunity.All our positions are open to people with disabilities, regardless of gender, origin, or sexual orientation#J-*****-Ljbffr
