The Sécheron Hasler Group continues the Swiss tradition of more than 140 years in the field of railway technology.We are one of the world's leading suppliers of electrical and electronic safety components and solutions and traction power supply systems for the railway industry, and also offer solutions for renewable energies, DC networks and other industrial systems.The name of the Sécheron Hasler Group is synonymous worldwide with Swiss quality and represents a leading reference for state-of-the-art products supplied to the market.With more than **** employees worldwide, we are there where our customers are.We supply approved products in our customers' countries or markets and offer a first-class supply chain and customer services locally.Secheron Hasler Italia is looking for a Software/Firmware Developer to join the R&D team at the Verona site.The Software Developer we are looking for will have experience in the development of C and modern C++ applications (C++11/14/17).The ideal candidate will also be familiar with the development of microcontroller firmware.The new resource will collaborate on the design, new development, and software/firmware maintenance of Secheron Hasler Operator Terminals (HMI) used in the railway sector and their supporting software tools.Responsibilities and Key Tasks1. Develop firmware applications for microcontrollers integrated into HMI devices.2. Write and update technical documentation.QualificationsYou ideally bring the following:1. University degree in Electrical Engineering/IT or similar disciplines;2. Minimum 3 years of experience;3. Thorough knowledge of C and modern C++ (C++11/14/17);4. Experience in using GNU autotools (automake);5. Knowledge of scripting language (Bash);6. Experience in firmware development on microcontrollers (for example NXP Arm Cortex-M7 and TI Hercules family);7. Experience in understanding hardware and using hardware tools for hardware/firmware debugging and integration (in-circuit debugging via JTAG, oscilloscope, etc);8. Experience on peripheral interfacing over I2C and SPI;9. Experience in using software versioning frameworks (GIT and SVN);10. Good knowledge of the English language (level B2/C1);11. Technical background.Preferred Qualifications1. Technical background in embedded firmware development;2.
