Our Client is one of the major General Contractor in Europe with more than 1B€ turnover.Leading player in the turn key projects, from design to construction in the infrastructure and buildings sector.It offers solutions from the land evaluation, design and construction withinindustrial, logistics and data center sector.We are actually looking for aDesign and Estimating Specialist– who will be reporting to the Senior Design Director and will be responsible for the competitiveness of the offers submitted.He/She will be accountable for the proper application of best practices indesign, cost estimation, quantity surveyand for the correct use of design and estimating tools across his/her scope of responsibility.KEY RESPONSABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:Writing and optimisation of sales offersDetailed technical design and estimating in line with the client's needsTechnical support in negotiationsProspection phase:Occasionally helps the Business Development team to qualify leads and decide whether to proceed or not with the design and estimatingProduces or contributes to the grading of the Go / No Go sheetDesign and Estimating phase:Ensures compliance with the Go / No Go processIs in charge of the projects' cost estimating, in line with the bidding and deliverables scheduleManages the external design and engineering firmsCoordinates the internal support functions' involvement in the projectsMeets with the client in the project definition phaseEnsures the projects' technical designDefines the client's specifications to optimise the project financially while guaranteeing its qualityConstruction phase:Participates occasionally in the sub-contractor tendering process for an operation's particular needsIs available to the project teams to check the P0 and P1 budgetsAssists the project team in the construction phase (if required)QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Architectural or similarLanguages spoken: English and/or French is a plusLocation – Milan and hybridCOSA DEVI FARE ORACandidates of both sexes, After reading the obligatory information regarding privacy on the site , are requested to send your CV in Word format, under reference (Ref. ******), as well as his or her consent to the processing of personal data pursuant to Legislative Decree no. ******.
