Location:Milan Lombardy ItalyJob ID:R*******Company Name:HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A.Profession (Job Category):Project / Program ManagementJob Schedule:Full timeRemote:NoJob Description : The opportunityThe R&D Project Manager role is critical to ensure the successful execution of the eMobility roadmap which include cost schedule quality and technology for the life cycle of the project and across multiple projects.The R&D Project Manager is contributing to the goals of the E-Mobility GCoC.How you'll make an impactLead cross-functional project teams (Power Electronics Mechanics Control and Automation Engineering) in close collaboration with the responsible line / program managementDrive development of multiple product roadmap items with R&D technical team and all cross-functional stakeholdersDevelop accurate comprehensive and regular reporting about R&D projects and stakeholder managementDrive the implementation of the backlog in a transparent and efficient way and ensure quality and timeliness of releasesResponsible of scope definition budget estimation and planning of the different R&D projectsSetup and manage partnerships with external development partners and production suppliersCollect and clarify requirements and drive prioritization with multiple stakeholdersResponsible of risk and opportunity management and change control within the projectsSupport the roll-out of releases to supply chain engineering and manufacturing and ensure smooth handover to the operational organizationSupport the R&D organization in continuously improving the processes and ways of working towards increasingly lean and agile methodsYour backgroundUniversity degree in a technical field (Electrical Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering or similar)3 years of technical project management experience including full lifecycle developments; all aspects from initial research & development specifications development concept development design testing & validation qualification and industrializationExperience in product development project management in a multisite and global team environmentGood knowledge of Scrum framework or similar Agile-Lean stage gate frameworksExperience in EV charging is a plusExperience of product development projects in the Automotive industry using or knowledge of APQP (incl.
