Senior Account Manager - PlatingBusiness Unit: MEISDivision: Industrial CORE - BusinessMac Dermid Enthone Industrial Solutions operates as a business unit of Element Solutions Inc (NYSE: ESI), a leading specialty chemicals company.We are a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries, designing and manufacturing chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces.Our high-performance functional coatings improve resistance to wear and corrosion, and our decorative performance coatings provide finishes for automotive interiors and jewelry, among other markets.We also provide chemistry and equipment for turnkey wastewater treatment and recycling solutions.Our industrial customer base is highly diverse, including appliances and electronics equipment, automotive parts, industrial parts, plumbing goods, construction equipment, and transportation equipment.We embody five core values, the "5 Cs": Challenge, Commit, Collaborate, Choose, Care.These values guide employees in interactions with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders, driving financial performance and creating a rewarding work environment.Who are we looking for?We are seeking a permanent, full-time, highly motivated Account Manager to work primarily in the Northern Italy area, supporting the Business Manager in operational activities and providing technical and service solutions while developing long-term partnerships.This position is located in San Martino di Trecate (NO), Italy.What will you be doing?Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters, including technical support.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.Prepare reports on account status.Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.Identify new prospects in the territory and opportunities within existing accounts using an ATLAS (Salesforce) driven approach.Who are you?Minimum qualification: Diploma of Chemistry.Outside sales position; travel required.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Good knowledge of office package preferred.What competencies will you need?Experience in a similar technical or sales role, ideally with industrial chemical manufacturing products.Experience with an applicator is a plus.Strong ability to build relationships and leverage customer and internal networks.Professional, positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
