Position OverviewTheSatellite Constellation Program Manageris responsible forleading satellite launch preparationsandcoordinating operations at launch sites worldwide.The role oversees allpre-launch activities, includingspacecraft integration with the launch vehicle,testing,final checkouts, and coordination withlaunch providersandinternational partnersto ensuremission success,safety compliance, andon-schedule deliveryof constellation assets.Key Responsibilities·Lead and manage satellite launch preparation campaignsfor constellation missions.·Coordinate and oversee integrationof spacecraft with the launch vehicle and associated ground support systems.·Supervise pre-launch activities, including functional tests, environmental checkouts, and final validation.·Serve as the primary interface with launch providers, spaceports, and international engineering teams.· Ensurefull compliancewithsafety regulations, mission requirements, and customer specifications.· Plan andmanage resources, schedules, and logistics for launch campaigns across multiple sites.· Leadtechnical readiness reviews, launch rehearsals, and mission readinessassessments.· Supportrisk assessment, contingency planning, and anomaly resolutionbefore and during launch operations.· Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and post-launch assessments.· Represent the company at international launch sites and mission control centers as required.Establish and enforce program management best practices across projects.RequirementsProvenexperience coordinating launch base operationsorspacecraft launch campaigns.Strong knowledge ofspacecraft integration,pre-launch testing, andground operations.Degree inAerospace Engineering,Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.Familiarity withlaunch vehicle interfaces,ground support equipment (GSE), andsafety protocols.Strongorganizational,leadership, andteam-managementskills.Ability tomanage multiple parallel missionsand work infast-paced environments.Excellentcommunicationandcross-functional coordinationskills.Availability for international travelon short notice and extended on-site campaigns.Proficiency inEnglish(written and spoken).Nice to HaveExperience withLEO constellation launchesorrideshare missions.Familiarity withECSS standards,ESA/NASA launch procedures, andspaceport operations(e.g. Kourou, Cape Canaveral, Baikonur, Vostochny).Background insystems engineering,AIT, ormission operations.Knowledge ofproject management toolsandscheduling software.BenefitsWhat We Offer:A dynamic and stimulating work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Metalmeccanico (CCNL) with compensation based on experience and skills.SPACE INDUSTRIES is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within its workplace and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.Why Join Us?A unique opportunity for professional growth in a young and dynamic aerospace company.The chance to work on innovative projects with a global impact in the small satellite sector.A stimulating and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to contribute to shaping the company's future strategies.
