OverviewWould you enjoy being part of a team that puts quality first?Would you like to work with the latest products in the energy industry?Join our cutting-edge Industrial Energy Technology teamOur Industrial Energy Technology team provides industry-leading products and services that optimize the extraction, production, and processing of energy.We help a diverse range of customers across the value chain to reduce operating costs and improve productivity.We collaborate with teams to solve technical challenges and design future innovations.Talamona manufacturing plant is the center of excellence for high tech turbomachinery components, and takes advantage of top notch technology in the industry such as additive manufacturing, advanced coatings, precision machining, robotics and automation.Partner with the bestResponsibilitiesAs aManufacturing Engineer – CAM Specialistat Baker Hughes, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing CNC machining processes through advanced CAM programming.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, improve cycle times, and maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.Develop and optimize CAM programs for complex turbomachinery components using advanced CAD/CAM software.Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability and process robustness.Define machining strategies and cutting tool selection to improve productivity and reduce costs.Support the introduction of new products and technologies into manufacturing.Analyze machining performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain and update process documentation, including setup sheets and tool lists.Troubleshoot machining issues and provide technical support to production teams.Evaluate and integrate new CAM technologies and software capabilities.Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.Act as a technical reference for CAM-related topics within the Manufacturing Engineering team.QualificationsFuel your passionTo be successful in this role ideally you should have:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent technical background.Proven experience in CAM programming for multi-axis CNC machines (e.g., 5-axis milling, mill-turn).Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Siemens NX, Mastercam, or similar).Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.Fluent in English and Italian.Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing is a plus.Work StyleWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.In this role, we can offer the following flexible working patterns:Working flexible hours – flexing the times when you work in the day to help you fit everything in and work when you are the most productive.Smart working opportunities.Working with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.We know we are better when all of our people are developed, engaged and able to bring their whole authentic selves to work.We invest in the health and well-being of our workforce, train and reward talent and develop leaders at all levels to bring out the best in each other.#J-*****-Ljbffr
