Senior Water Resources Manager, AWS Water Team, DCC CommunitiesAWS is looking for a results-oriented individual to join the AWS water infrastructure team in APAC region.In this role, you will provide engineering and due diligence support for AWS's new and existing APAC projects related to water-based cooling system infrastructure.For new projects, you will be responsible for executing multiple water projects across different geographies, conducting due diligence on water and wastewater infrastructure solutions, negotiating directly with water utilities, evaluating cost and schedule to deliver water, and ensuring smooth start-up of new water infrastructure.At existing sites, you will support AWS operations and engineering teams to operate and troubleshoot water treatment systems.You will develop metrics, communicate performance to technical teams and senior leadership, and be the subject matter expert for all issues pertaining to water infrastructure and risk analysis.You will deliver water sustainability projects for AWS Infrastructure in APAC regions.You will also be the central point of contact for all issues pertaining to water and wastewater treatment and disinfection systems and for managing healthy relationships with utilities.You will play a key role with due diligence and site selection efforts in existing and new regions by compiling and analyzing geographical location and specific prospective site information, including(i) permitting and land use data,(ii) data on water and wastewater availability and cost,(iii) reliable back-up supplies and availability of alternate water sources.Key Job ResponsibilitiesWork with internal engineering, operations, real estate, and risk and resiliency teams to manage water and wastewater service delivery at new and existing AWS facilities.Develop and execute comprehensive water infrastructure delivery for global AWS infrastructure expansion.Recommend AWS water-based cooling launch strategies for new regions based on in-market and desktop due diligence.Ensure that all water systems at existing sites are operating effectively and will not adversely impact operations.Identify and develop cost-saving projects and initiatives related to water infrastructure and supply; complete due diligence on in-market opportunities and transform those opportunities into cost savings for the business.Track and manage reliability and maintenance of water systems, as well as the resiliency of water supply sources required for data-center cooling; never constrain business growth.Work with internal teams to troubleshoot problems and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action (CA) for design and fleet-deployed water systems.Deliver projects that directly support water sustainability goals.Manage concurrent projects in multiple regions, including 20% regional travel for site review and engineering evaluations, audits, and site launches.Basic Qualifications6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience.6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission-critical facilities, including but not limited to data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities.Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment.Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance.Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities.Preferred QualificationsProfessional Engineering or Architectural License.Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region.Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment or mass production.Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
