Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Our company is looking for a Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join our Engineering team. The purpose of this role is to carry out the design activities and issue the deliverables assigned by the Chef Engineer, in full respect of Contract, Quality, Safety, and Environment requirements, within the Specific Time Schedule and Cost. This role is a technical reference point in the Instrumentation discipline.Responsibilities:Review contractual technical documentation and requirements.Prepare the deliverables relevant to Instrumentation and issued by instrumentation discipline: design criteria, technical specifications, calculations, data sheets, inspection data sheets, material requisitions and technical bid evaluations.Perform design calculations of valves and instruments according to applicable codes in order to define main featuresReview Vendor documentation relevant to supplied items and interact with Suppliers for the technical issues (Vendor follow-up).Attend inspections & tests in Vendor shops for critical supplies. Participation to FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests)Perform/participate to the squad-checks. Check and review other instrument engineer deliverablesSupport Chief Engineer in carrying out the periodical estimate of material and erection quantities.Review Tender Documentation and prepare clarification requests during bid phase.Interact with Estimating Team in order to prepare an accurate quantity estimate on the projectPrepare pre-calculation for quantity estimate purposePrepare the periodical estimation to complete of material and erection quantities reportsKeep him/herself updated with the state of the art for the design, material, workmanship related to his/her specialization and disciplineEnsure that his work is done with accuracy and without mistakes, carefully checking all the documentation before formal issue.Support Chief Engineer in coordinating external engineering resources Requirements:I& C Engineering backgroundKnowledge of main I& C international codes, standards and best engineering practices (ISA, IEC, IEEE, ATEX, NFPA; API etc.)Knowledge of ICSS (DCS/ESD/FGS) systemsKnowledge of Building F& G systemsKnowledge of Industrial TLC Plant Security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection)Knowledge of Industrial TLC Plant Safety systems (PA/GA systems, Radio communications,)Knowledge of Industrial TLC Plant Communication ( systems structural cabling, office network, telephone system)Knowledge of O& G , Power & Industrial Plant SCADA systems, network architecture & integrationKnowledge of Field InstrumentsKnowledge of instrument installation and hook-upKnowledge of I& C field engineering (routing, etc)Knowledge of FIELD BUSKnowledge of Automation & ControlKnowledge of Smart Plant InstrumentationSeniority: Long-standing experience in I& C Engineering in Oil& Gas/Petrochemical/Energy EPC projects (minimum 7 years)Education : Bachelor/Master Degree in Electronic or Telecommunications Engineering or High School DiplomaFluent written and spoken English
