OverviewAbout Us: Spectron Microsystems is a design center in Padua, Italy, dedicated to the invention, research, and development of acoustic-based filters for next-generation 5G communications.Our proprietary technology is transforming RF filtering by delivering innovative acoustic-only solution for mobile, Wi-Fi, and base stations across emerging wireless bands.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Yield Optimization Engineer to join our R&D team.This role is central to ensuring that our SAW / BAW resonators and filters achieve high yield and manufacturability.Whether you are an experienced engineer or a newly graduated candidate eager to grow, this position offers the chance to work at the intersection of design, manufacturing, and reliability engineering.You will learn and apply advanced yield optimization techniques, investigate root causes of yield loss, and help drive continuous improvement in design-for-manufacturing practices.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform statistical yield analysis using methods such as SPC, DOE, regression, and Pareto analysisDevelop and apply design-for-manufacturing (DFM) strategies to improve yield and reduce variabilityCollaborate with design teams to integrate yield optimization into resonator and filter architecturesInvestigate root causes of yield loss and propose corrective actionsWork with fabrication and production teams to monitor yield trends and process stabilityAutomate data collection, visualization, and reporting to accelerate yield learning cyclesQualificationsEducationM.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field (preferred)B.S. graduates with strong analytical and programming skills are encouraged to applyTechnical SkillsKnowledge of statistical analysis methods (SPC, DOE, regression, Monte Carlo, etc.)Familiarity with SAW, BAW, or MEMS resonator / filter design (experience is a plus, but not required for new graduates)Basic understanding of micro-device manufacturing processesProficiency in Python or other scripting languages for data analysis and automationFamiliarity with RF measurement instruments and techniques (preferred)Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilitiesTeam-oriented, proactive, and detail-focused mindsetWillingness to learn and apply new yield optimization techniquesWhy Join Us?At Spectron Microsystems, you'll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of RF filtering technology.This is an opportunity to grow your career while contributing to innovations that will impact billions of connected devices worldwide.Yield Optimization Engineer for AcousticMEMS Resonators Filters • Padova, IT#J-*****-Ljbffr
