Job DescriptionOverIT is a global Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company with a strong presence in North America and Europe.We empower organizations in the power, utility, telco, and transportation industries to manage their mission-critical infrastructures efficiently and safely through cutting-edge Field Service Management software solutions.At OverIT, we leverage advanced technologies like ML (Machine Learning), AR (Augmented Reality), IoT (Internet of Things), and GIS (Geographic Information System) to help ensure the infrastructures essential to our daily lives are always on.If you want to be part of a top technology brand, join usWhat you'll doOperate and support AWS cloud environments powering the OverIT SaaS platform, with a strong focus on availability, reliability, and security.Act as a second-level cloud operations engineer, troubleshooting production issues across compute, networking, storage, IAM, and other managed AWS services.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on incidents and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Operate and maintain our Cloud Native Platform based on Kubernetes, ensuring cluster stability, workload health, and proper observability.Contribute to the design and evolution of cloud architectures, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and/or CloudFormation to standardize, maintain, and evolve cloud resources.Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and cost control solutions across distributed environments.Develop automation scripts and tools (primarily Python-based) to reduce manual operations and recurring tasks.Contribute to cloud governance, security posture, and operational best practices.Operate and support GenAI workloads on Amazon Bedrock, focusing on reliability, monitoring, and cost efficiency.What you'll need1–3 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Operations, SRE or Platform Engineering roles.Hands-on experience operating AWS services in production environments, including EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, networking and CloudWatch.Familiarity with incident management, alert handling, and production support workflows.Experience working with containerized workloads, including basic troubleshooting.Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform or CloudFormation.Good knowledge of scripting and automation, preferably with Python.A collaborative mindset, curiosity, and the ambition to grow into a Cloud and Platform Architect role by building strong foundations in cloud architecture, operations, reliability, and production systems within a large-scale SaaS platform.What's nice to haveKnowledge of observability stacks such as Dynatrace or Grafana Labs.Understanding of Kubernetes ecosystem components, including service meshes (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).Previous experience as a Software Engineer or familiarity with software design principles and development workflows.Cloud or Kubernetes certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified Developer Associate.What we offerOverIT is a unique transformation project in the SaaS space arena, full of ambition to scale and grow globally.International culture and environment with the opportunity to partner with an outstanding group of people and professionals who joined the company to scale and succeed.A career-defining opportunity with full exposure to two leading private equity firms.At OverIT we value diversity and are committed to equal employment opportunities regardless of religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender perception or identity, ethnicity, or place of origin.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustries: IT Services and IT Consulting#J-*****-Ljbffr
