I have an excellent opportunity with a market-leading client based in Milan looking for an Analog Designer or CAD Support Engineer who is interested in taking their career in a different direction.The Application Engineer role will involve activities such as:Lead and drive technical evaluations: from demonstration to technical characterization and evaluation rollout.Provide technical customer support for our products related to the Front-End part of the Custom IC design platform.Track all technical issues, document, prioritize, and effectively manage customer satisfaction.Visit customers for discovery meetings, technical updates, and debug sessions.The Application Engineer will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively with other team members to address customer issues and support technology adoption campaigns.The Application Engineer needs to be open to continuous personal development and growth to meet the evolving demands of the electronics industry.This role spans a broad range of technologies: must be eager to learn new tools, flows, and technologies.The position requires a Master's degree in Microelectronics Engineering with ideally 8-10+ years of industry experience in analog & mixed-signal IC design, EDA, and technical sales support.Candidates with a PhD in electronic design engineering are positively considered.The candidate should ideally possess expertise in several core areas:Good knowledge of industrial analog designs (mature or advanced nodes)Understanding of Front-End IC design flowAnalog / RF and Mixed-Signal simulation with Spice and mixed-signal simulatorsExperience with Cadence Virtuoso Schematic, Analog Design Environment, SpectreExperience with Spectre AMS Designer and Xcelium is highly desiredExperience with A / MS and RNM modeling techniques is highly desiredLinux environment and scripting languagesPlease contact Parm Shergill to discuss further.#J-*****-Ljbffr
