the essential information above captures the role context.Education & Work ExperienceMaster's Degree with 5 years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of experience.Required & Desired LanguagesRequired: Fluency in oral and written English.Desired: Working knowledge of another official UN language or a local language from partner countries is advantageous.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe AI Hub Campaign Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping the programme narrative, focusing on the convergence of AI foundations for development and private sector growth within the AI Hub for Sustainable Development.This position involves co-designing innovative AI Hub programmes during development and engagement phases, while leading tailored campaigns to mobilize stakeholder action and establish the AI Hub as a dynamic systems orchestrator.The Specialist will collaborate closely with partners across the G7, African nations, and relevant authorities in 14 partner countries in Africa to amplify impact.AI Hub Knowledge & InsightsLead the design, implementation and monitoring of the AI Hub for Sustainable Development Programmes' knowledge and insights strategy, generating timely and action-oriented insights to inform and drive delivery across 6 months to 1 year programming cycles.Work with the AI Hub Head of Programme Design & Engagement and collaborate with the DAI Hub Knowledge & Strategy and DAI Hub Communications teams to build processes, methodologies, and campaign strategies with partners.Support Italy, G7 countries, and African government partners in identifying new partnerships and catalyzing actions through effective campaigns and advocacy.Contribute to UNDP's ability to identify narrative trends and emergent tools to keep ahead of frontier issues in AI and digital development.AI Hub Programmes Campaign Implementation & ScaleDevelop and execute AI Hub programmes campaigns with clear objectives, stakeholder mapping, processes for sourcing and implementing new AI ideas, tracking workstreams, and ongoing team management.Establish monitoring, evaluation and learning approaches, including KPIs and stakeholder interviews.Design and pilot approaches to connect media, communities, and partner organizations to harness AI development opportunities and mitigate risks, leveraging UNDP's strengths.Collaborate with the Digital, AI and Innovation Communications team at BPPS to ensure alignment and coordination.Campaign Operations And ManagementUnder supervision, work with the Head of Programme Design & Engagement and the AI Hub leadership on go-to-market strategies for all AI Hub programmes and partnerships.Manage partnership expectations and partner visibility.Advocacy & Thought LeadershipSteer research to identify priority themes for thought leadership aligned with the AI Hub's vision; devise creative approaches to engage target audiences across media channels.Participate in global AI forums and conferences to position UNDP's AI Hub as a thought leader in responsible AI for development.Manage stakeholder events to highlight opportunities and challenges in AI development.Other DutiesPerform other duties within the functional profile as needed for the Office and Organization.Institutional ArrangementReporting directly to the AI Hub Head of Programme Design & Engagement; collaborate with the global Digital, AI and Innovation Hub, the UNDP Rome Centre, and Bureaus of Africa and Arab States to maximize reach and influence, aligned with the Bureau of Policy and Programmes.QualificationsMin. education requirementsAn advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Design, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology management, Education, or a relevant technical field; orA first-level university degree (bachelor's degree) in the listed fields with two additional years of qualifying experience in lieu of the advanced degree.Min.Years Of Relevant Work Experience5 years (with master's degree) or 7 years (with bachelor's degree) of experience in AI, digital transformation, or sustainable development.Required SkillsProven track record leading multi-stakeholder campaigns and managing partner visibility.Experience identifying partnerships and designing initiatives with the private sector.Understanding of diverse stakeholder groups and experience in LDCs, Africa, and underserved regions.Project management experience with the ability to influence global policy and drive organizational change.Desired Skills In Addition To The CompetenciesUnderstanding of different contexts and experience working with developing countries.Knowledge of international development challenges affecting developing countries.Required Language(s)Fluency in oral and written English is required.Working knowledge of another official UN language or a local language from partner countries is advantageous.#J-*****-Ljbffr
