About Us Indie Campers, the go-to campervan Marketplace, is on a mission of making road trips available to everyone.Thanks to its digital approach and customer-centric orientation, Indie Campers has developed a strong booking experience and high-quality road trips at affordable prices.With over one million nights rented through our travel platform, we have welcomed more than 300,000 travelers from 169 countries.We offer a comprehensive and expanding array of road trip possibilities: short-term RV rentals, long-term campervan subscriptions, and the possibility of buying one of our vehicles available for sale.Rooted in a deep technological focus, our challenges are both exciting and demanding and require top talent and motivation to be successfully pursued.We are growing our team and looking for those interested in pursuing this dream with us and joining an ever-developing journey.THE ROLEWe are seeking a proactive and skilledAutomotive Workshop Managerto oversee the operations of our new in-house workshop inMarcon.The ideal candidate will coordinate a team of mechanics, establish repair priorities, manage spare parts and stocks, and maintain budgetary control, all while upholding high standards of quality and safety.WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?Team ManagementSupervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of mechanics, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance reviews.Provide hands-on guidance and training to ensure team members develop technical skills and adhere to company standards.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.Workshop OperationsPlan, prioritize, and oversee campervan repair and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations.Act as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues or complex repairs.Inventory And Spare Parts ManagementMonitor stock levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables, ensuring availability to meet operational needs.Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement and negotiate cost-effective purchasing agreements.Maintain accurate inventory records and implement cost-control measures.Budget And ReportingTrack and report on workshop performance metrics, including repair turnaround times and budget adherence.Propose improvements in processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.Safety And ComplianceEnsure adherence to workplace safety standards and regulations.Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Candidates with certified training in mechanics, mechatronics, or a similar program in the automotive industry.Candidates with at least 10 years of proven experience managing a workshop.Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance, preferably in campervans or similar vehicles.Knowledge of stock and spare part management systems.Budget management experience and a results-oriented approach.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.You're fluent in English and Italian.You're eligible to work in Italy, have a valid driver's licence and feel confident enough to drive a campervan (mandatory).You're available on weekends and public holidays.THE INDIE COMMITMENTBeing part of a young, fast-growing and innovative company where you make a difference.Career development opportunities in Field Operations and transition opportunities to our Offices in Lisbon, Mexico City or Manila.Continuous training and coaching to develop the skills that matter to you.Compensation package that includes Performance and Referral Bonuses.Free Road Trips, so you can experience Indie firsthand trips around Europe, North America and Oceania.Are you ready to Go Indie?#J-*****-Ljbffr
