Senior Manufacturing ConsultantBased in the Greater Milan areaWe are currently representing a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation at a pivotal stage in their growth.Through a major new strategic partnership, they are positioning themselves as a one-stop solution provider for end-to-end automation – from Level 1 instrumentation and sensing, right through to Level 4 digital manufacturing.This is a company with the full capability to deliver across the entire technology stack, integrating operational technology with information technology to create true smart factories.With smart manufacturing forecast to reach $121 B by **** (15% CAGR), there's never been a better time to join.The RoleYou will play a crucial consulting role by engaging directly with clients to assess operations, identify improvement opportunities, and help realise performance gains through digital transformation solutions and lean methods that integrate operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT).You will act as a manufacturing expert and transformation consultant for international manufacturing industry customers from Automotive, CPG, Pharma, and other focus industriesDiagnosing customer manufacturing operations, applying lean and digital tools, and guiding improvement strategies, including layout and automation opportunities.Lead Gemba-based workshops, 4 M/6 M analysis, and stakeholder alignment sessions on-site or virtuallyDevelop transformation roadmaps, benefit cases, and rollout strategies for customer manufacturing sites, which will help to realise the customer's top management KPIs What We're Looking For5+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing operations, or industrial engineering, with lean transformation experience in the food and/or beverage sectorManufacturing Ops: Knowledge of line balancing, takt time, yield, OEE, and value stream mapping.Lean/CI Methods: Kaizen, 8 D, A3, SMED, TPM, Six Sigma, etc.Six Sigma green or black beltValid driving licenceWilling to travel 40% of the timeFluent English and Italian language Why Join?Be part of a high-profile, strategic growth initiative in a booming sectorWork with cutting-edge technologies, from industrial Io T to AI-driven analyticsOperate on a global stageJoin a culture that blends innovation with stability – offering the best of both worlds If you're ready to play a leading role in shaping the factories of the future, apply now or contact me directly at for a confidential conversation.
