CryptoBooks is a leading company in the crypto accounting space, providing innovative and reliable accounting solutions tailored specifically for the cryptocurrency industry.Our mission is to simplify the complex world of crypto finance, ensuring accuracy and compliance for our clients.Job Summary:As a Junior F&A Controller, your goal will be to support day-to-day accounting, reporting and cash-flow monitoring.You will assist in month-end closing, reconciliations, budgeting, and KPI tracking, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.This job is based in our Bari (Italy) office, with 2 days of remote-working allowed per week.ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day accounting activities (AP, AR, general ledger postings) in coordination with the CEO-CFOAssist with monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activitiesPrepare and update account reconciliations (banks, customers, suppliers, payroll, VAT, etc.)Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting systemSupport preparation of management reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow, variance analysis)Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles by collecting data, updating templates and checking consistencyMonitor key financial KPIs (revenues, margins, OPEX, cash burn, DSO/DPO, etc.) and highlight anomalies or trendsAssist in the preparation of cash-flow projections and weekly/monthly cash monitoringSupport invoice processing, payment runs and expense report checks, ensuring correct coding and approvalsPerform basic cost and margin analyses on products, projects or business lines, under the guidance of senior controllersHelp ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting principles and tax requirementsCollect and organize documentation needed for statutory audits, tax inspections and internal reviewsContribute to the documentation and improvement of finance & administration procedures and controlsHelp maintain and improve reporting files/dashboards (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)Respond to ad-hoc requests from management for data, reports or analysisMaintain organized digital archives of contracts, invoices and other administrative documentationProactively identify data inconsistencies or process issues and suggest pragmatic improvementsQualificationsMaster's degree in Business Administration or Finance (or other equivalent-related degree)Knowledge of Excel and Google TimesheetsDesire to work in a fast-paced environment.Intermediate to Advanced English, spoken and writtenWhat we offerHybrid job with two days working from homeGross Annual Salary between ****** and ****** EUR (depending on your skills and seniority)1 year fixed-term contract with prospect of permanent extension at the end of the first yearA goal based environmentA "humans first" approach to colleagues and coworkersClear career paths and goal setting (we use the OKR framework)Our quarterly CryptoBooks Gathering where we meet in person and have fun togetherWe care about DiversityWe aim at building a diverse team because we strongly believe that it is the best way to achieve success both as a company and as a team of individuals.In particular, we really wish that women would approach the blockchain and crypto worlds more often.So we strongly encourage you to submit your application, whatever your gender, religion, political views, nationality, skin color, age.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/Auditing and FinanceIndustriesSoftware Development#J-*****-Ljbffr
