At Metlen Energy & Metals, you, our people, are our greatest strength.We are committed to supporting your growth and career journey every step of the way, as this is your opportunity to take charge of your career path.Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Grid Project Manager to join our M Renewables team in Milan, part of our Italian subsidiary.Your role will encompass:Follow-up the connection process with grid operatorsSupervise the grid connection process providing technical advice and strategic direction to the Development Team;Support the preparation of tender processes for the grid interconnection works, including establishing scope of work, reviewing responses and selecting contractors;Develop effective relationships with potential contractors, suppliers, consultantsQualification of contractors, suppliers, consultantsEvaluation of offers and follow-up in the tendering processSupport for the preparation of contracts to ensure that works will be executed in accordance with METKA-EGN's requirementsFunctional coordination with the internal departments (finance, legal, technical, procurement, etc.) involved in project assessment, due diligence, or implementationIdentifying and evaluating emerging technologies and techniques to optimize grid connection solutions;Estimate costs and schedule activities of grid interconnections works;Review of Quality Control Plan and Inspection Points Program of EPC/subcontractorsPerform site surveys and Audits during constructionManagement and supervision of Engineering and Construction of Grid Connection Works and Coordination with Project Managers and Site EngineersParticipation of the relevant phases of CommissioningWhat you bring to the role:BSc/MEng.; Civil and/or Electrical Engineering background is considered an advantageMeng.is considered an advantageTrack record (minimum 3 years) in the project management of grid worksFluency in Italian & EnglishKnowledge in Electrical, Mechanical & Civil Engineering is considered an advantageTrack record in the construction of HV substation is considered an advantageTrack record in the construction of grid works with E-distribuzione is considered an advantageKnowledge of the Italian Grid Connection Process (and the TICA) is considered an advantageExperience in the construction of renewables plants (solar, wind & batteries) is considered an advantageKnowledge of AUTOCADWorking experience in ItalyExcellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skillsYour benefitsAttractive remuneration packageFriendly and professional working environmentContinuous trainingCooperation, creativity and innovation: we adopt a flexible cooperation model to achieve fast results and increase productivityIf you are ready to take the next step in your career and contribute to our mission of creating a sustainable future, we encourage you to apply for this exciting internal opportunity.#J-*****-Ljbffr
