The Fàula Restaurant is deeply focused on sustainability and meticulous product research, awarded the "Two forks Gambero Rosso" and located inside the 5* sustainable Resort Casa di Langa.We are seeking a Sommelier to strengthen our dining room team and elevate the guest experience through exceptional wine service.Casa di Langa is a 5* sustainable hotel with 39 rooms and suites, restaurant, and spa, affiliated with Preferred Hotels and Resorts in the L. V. X. category and located in the beautiful hills of Alta Langa, Piemonte (CN).Since its official opening on June 11th, ****, Casa di Langa has already achieved remarkable milestones such as winning the **** Preferred Awards of Excellence and joining the Virtuoso Exclusives program.What You Will DoUpdate the wine list together with the Maître and Beverage Consultant/F& B Manager.Recommend wine pairings and serve wines at the correct temperature with appropriate glassware.Manage and maintain the wine cellar, ensuring full availability and accurate list updates.Welcome and assist guests, guaranteeing an exceptional and personalized service experience.Apply all operational and administrative procedures accurately.Support table service and dining room setup when required.Maintain order, cleanliness, and organization of glassware, storage areas, and inventory.Interact with guests to gather feedback and anticipate their needs.Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.Maintain clear communication with the kitchen to ensure coordinated service.Contribute to the development, professionalism, and presentation of the service team.Uphold Preferred Hotels & Resorts and Casa di Langa service standards.Who We Are Looking ForMinimum 5 years of experience in high-end restaurants.Proven experience as a Sommelier or in a similar role, with strong wine knowledge and passion (AIS/WSET preferred).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to create a calm, welcoming, and high-quality environment for guests and colleagues.Strong customer-service mindset, even in challenging situations.Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.Goal-oriented, with the ability to motivate and support the team.Excellent English; additional languages are a plus.Nice to haveValid Italian driver's licenceAccess to your own vehicleWe OfferStaff accommodation available for non-resident employees, located a few kilometers from the propertyFull-time contract5 working days per week (2 days off)8-hour shiftsComplimentary staff meals in the In-house staff canteenUniform provided + 2 weekly laundry servicesContinuous training, support and onboardingCareer growth opportunities within an expanding international hospitality groupSpecial rates and benefits within the Group's propertiesPlease send your CV toAbout Our GroupCasa di Langa is part of Krause Group , a U.
