Mid-Level Industrial Designer atStudio VolpiThe OpportunityMid-Level Industrial DesignerFull-Time (3 days in office, 2 days remote)About Studio VolpiFounded in ****, Studio Volpi is a global reference for developing projects that seamlessly integrate technology, design, and branding.Our winning strategy lies in blending these elements at every stage of the design process, from initial strategy to final development.We are a multidisciplinary team collaborating with top international partners across diverse industries.Based in Carnago, Italy, we maintain a global presence with additional offices in China and the U.S.The RoleAs a Mid-Level Industrial Designer, you will be a key contributor to the creative process, supporting design leadership in the execution of products ranging from cutting-edge consumer electronics to sophisticated home appliances.This is a full-time, hands-on position based in Carnago, Varese, where you will be instrumental in the development and refinement of new physical products for our global partners.ResponsibilitiesSupport the design team in managing complex industrial design projects from concept ideation through to final execution.Prepare materials for internal and client presentations and meetings.Develop and refine high-quality, user-centric design concepts, focusing on aesthetics, form language, and physical user experience.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Branding) to ensure design solutions are technically feasible and strategically aligned.Assist in synthesizing market trends, user research, and usability test data to inform new product ideas.Prototype physically (low-fi) or digitally (AR/VR) experience models.Execute CMF (Color, Material, Finish) development directions and prepare prototype specifications.Willingness to travel occasionally for research, project delivery, and client meetings.Minimum QualificationsA University Degree in Industrial Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.2–4 years of professional working experience in industrial design, with a strong portfolio showcasing professional or shipped products.Strong skills in industrial design, encompassing high-quality aesthetics, form language, and physical user experience.Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.Proficiency in photorealistic 3D rendering (e.g., KeyShot) and advanced proficiency in relevant CAD software (e.g., Rhinoceros, SolidWorks or Creo).Professional working proficiency in English.Must be eligible to work in Italy without requiring visa sponsorship.Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Preferred Qualifications / BonusExperience across a wide range of product categories, particularly consumer electronics and home appliances.Experience with digital interaction (UX/UI) is a plus.Proficiency with the latest design tools, including Generative AI workflows.Professional working proficiency in Italian.How to ApplySend your most recent CV and Portfolio with recent works, with Subject: "Mid-Level Industrial Designer – Studio Volpi" to in ****, Studio Volpi has established itself as a global point of reference and a leading strategic partner for companies across various sectors.We empower organizations seeking to implement...#J-*****-Ljbffr
