About Us:Day Break Hotels ( is an Italian VC-backed scale-up selling hotels' rooms and services during daytime.It operates in 17 countries worldwide and now counts over 6,000 affiliated hotels including many top international hotel chains, such as Hilton & Accor.Day Break Hotels combines the worlds of e-commerce, travel, hospitality, luxury and entertainment, and its HQ is based in Rome.Position:Software TesterEmployment Type:PermanentLocation:Rome (Trastevere)Role Overview:We are seeking a Software Tester to join our structured and collaborative team.The role will focus on Quality Assurance within an agile environment.The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and has 1–3 years of experience in software testing/quality assurance.You will be responsible for defining and executing test cases for web and mobile applications, while collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest quality of our digital products.Key Responsibilities:• Analyze functional and technical requirements• Define test cases and create test plans• Execute manual test cases for web and mobile apps• Perform troubleshooting and defect analysis• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issuesSkills and Qualifications• Team player – strong collaborative mindset• Passion for QA – genuine interest in software quality and testing activities• Bug-hunting mindset – ability to design test cases from functional analysis documents and carry out manual testing• Accuracy & organization – structured, precise, and able to work both independently and in a team• Analytical skills – detail-oriented with a methodical approach to problem-solving• Willingness to learn – open to continuous improvement and expanding your knowledge• English proficiency – able to read, write, and communicate at a professional levelPreferred / Nice-to-Have Skills• Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Trello, Jira)• Familiarity with the Agile framework• Knowledge of automated testing toolsIf you meet the qualifications outlined above and are eager to contribute to our innovative journey, we encourage you to apply.Note: This job description serves as a guide to convey essential information about the position and is not an exhaustive list of skills, duties, responsibilities, or working conditions associated with the role.
