At ABB, we help industries outrun – leaner and cleaner.Here, progress is an expectation – for you, your team, and the world.As a global market leader, we'll give you what you need to make it happen.It won't always be easy, growing takes grit.But at ABB, you'll never run alone.Run what runs the world.This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company.We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics.SoftBank is a globally recognized technology group and investor/operator focused on AI, robotics, and next-generation computing.By joining us now, you'll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of robotics – working alongside world-class experts in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.Reporting toCluster Tax Lead, Eastern Northern EuropeIn this role, you will hold global responsibility for indirect tax strategy, process ownership, and governance across ABB Robotics.You will enable the Corporate Tax function to operate optimally by proactively managing indirect tax risks, embedding best practices, and ensuring Robotics remains compliant with evolving indirect tax regulations and digital reporting requirements worldwide.You will work closely with business leaders, country tax teams, and global stakeholders to shape processes, optimize systems, and support operational execution.The work model for the role is hybrid.The preferred location is within Europe.You will be mainly accountable for:Strategic Leadership: Support the Head of Tax in developing and implementing global indirect tax priorities aligned with Robotics' business model and operational reality.Policy & Process Ownership: Define, develop, and update global indirect tax guidelines; design and standardize end-to-end indirect tax processes and controls as the global process owner.Operational Support & Compliance: Engage with Country Tax Responsibles and Tax Process Operations, support controversy management, and establish working models for outsourced compliance providers.Systems & Technology Enablement: Ensure indirect tax requirements are embedded in ERP design, drive the accuracy and harmonization of indirect tax master data, and develop the global indirect tax technology roadmap, including tax engine solutions.Capability Building & Stakeholder Engagement: Train relevant internal stakeholders on indirect tax matters and collaborate across the organization to support decision-making and alignment.Qualifications for the role:Master's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or tax.10+ years' proven experience in indirect tax, ideally in multinational environments.In-depth knowledge of global indirect tax regulatory trends and digitalization requirements.Proven experience working with ERP environments, preferably SAP, and indirect tax engine / solution implementations.Strong analytical capability and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and engage a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.Skilled at building consensus across diverse teams and functions.What's in it for you?We give you the space to lead, the support to grow, and the chance to make a difference.Whether you're solving problems, building something new, or helping others succeed, your impact is real.You'll be part of a team that values your voice and celebrates your progress.We value people from different backgrounds.Could this be your story?Apply today or visit to read more about us and learn about the impact of our solutions across the globe.#J-*****-Ljbffr
